Chapter 1 - Prolgue

Somewhere in the town of Lakeside Park, in Hillstone state, on Halloween day two group of friends were having the time of their life's. "Man, Katie. This year's Halloween sucks. We barely got anything from the people around our neighborhood." A boy with long blond hair and blue eyes said. Huffing out a heavy sigh of frustration and annoyance as a couple minutes earlier, when he was going around asking for candy, a man who answer the door asked for five bucks for a piece of candy. Katie, a girl with brown brunette wearing a Hockey mask with a toy looking machete, looking up at him with Istanbul eyes by also one of curiosity. "Maybe it's because your costume is cheep and basic with a sucky design! I mean what type of ghost looks like this, Jay!" Katie exclaimed with a hint of disgust gesture towards Jay's costume with a finger. "What!? It's not like yours is any better!" Jay remarked looking at Katie's very, if not almost, basic costume of Jason. "You know I hate dressing up for Halloween, Jay! I'v never liked it at all!" Katie roar at Jay with anger, though it was barely heard through the zooming of cars going by, as she stopped close to Jay with very ugly expression of rage. "Alright! Alright! Let's stop arguing!" Jay said placing an calm gentle hand on Katie, albeit it didn't help the situation. "There's plenty of candy to go around through this neighborhood!" Jay added with a smile of excitement, witch to Katie, that looked oddly terrifying and sinister.

The rest of hollow night went smoothly and soon Katie and Jay were sitting on a bus heading towards different part of Hillstone to get more candy. When they both had arrived at the next spot and got off the bus, they looked around their surroundings. The wind was blowing slightly, the clouds were darker then usual signaling that there will be a storm comin and the moon was eerily bright. There was an old yet slightly new stop sign for bus stops and there was a old, tattered, slightly bent wooden bench ment for sitting, although it was highly not recommended. The wind cut at them with a chill breeze making Jay shiver with both excitement and nervousness. "WOW! We got a lot of candy!" Jay exclaims with happiness easing his hands up and accidentally dropping his bag of candy to the floor. Katie nodded in agreement, laughing as she watch Jay drop his bag of candy and seeing it spill onto the dark, grassy floor. "But, it's getting really late and we should probably head home after knocking on one more house." Jay continued as he picked up the small pieces of candy one by one. Wiping off any dirt, wet or dry back onto the floor and putting it back into the bag. "Hmm, yea. Just do one more house and then go home." Katie said pointing towards a tall, two story house that had yellows painting and tattered walls, it's a windows boarded up with faint light shining through it like a hand was covering it. A small number sign was on top of it saying, "House 90". The house was on top of the hill and it was very steap which wasn't uncommon within Hillstone neighborhood. "Oh? I know that place! It's the old Maneion house! I'm sure they'll give us lots of candy!" Katie exclaimed ushering Jay to hurry up making Jay get very annoyed. "Ugh. You want to go there? Fine, but after that we go home and that's it." Jay said firmly with a large huff of annoyance, standing up after making sure he had the right amount of candy.

After a couple of minutes they were able to climb up that steap, torturous and very difficult terrain. It was like trying to climb Mount Everest in person, but without the risk of dying that is. Katie was probably the only one who actually enjoyed climbing up that hill while Jay was just a dead beat, tattered waste of a ghost his form was slightly dirty and disheveled after falling and tumbling back down the hill to the very start. It was a very interesting sight to behold. It was like watching a ragdoll falling and spining down then breaking into tiny pieces as it went down. "You have see your face! It looks so funny!" Katie snickered as she tried to stifle a laugh, clutching her sides tightly trying to hold it in. "Oh? Laugh it up Comedian." Jay growled with annoyance and a slight hint of sarcasm along with joy. They soon made it to the door of the old, falling down, house and made a rapping, very soft yet very loud, knocking sound on it. The sound echoed so brazenly and bravely it could have waken a whole town if not careful. After a while the door soon opened up quietly like it was recently oiled, which was probably for the best, as it showed a tall, grey haired, beautiful young women wearing a half wore slasher costume. She had faint yellow eyes that glowed with kindness and sweetness. "Why hello, little children." He voice was calm and monotone with a hint of pleasure squeaking its way into her voice, "What brings you to our humble home?" The women added with a soft yet unnoticed hollow voice. The children gave cautious glances at each other, one wondering either they should ask for candy and leave while the other was thinking how they would see the their friends after this. "We came to get some candy, Mrs. M!" Katie shouted bravely with authority as she placed her hands on her hips with a girl's expression of smug pride. The grey haired women chuckled slightly at the burst of young youth emenating from this girl. "Yes. We have lots of candy. Please come in." The women said making a hand gesture for the children to come inside. The two children look at each other and shrugged. Why not accept this odd welcoming. When they entered the large home they were met with a small group of people who were also dressing up in costumes. One of them, named Hopper, was wearing a very entertaining clown costume that looked so stuipid it would make anyone laugh on site. The other one, named Trevor, was wearing this very odd boxy like TV costume that actually looked like cool in person(I can't think of any thing better besides making a small imaginary costume for you to imagine. This is also because I suck balls at writing things T-T).
