Chapter 13 -  Chapter 13 The Corrosive Yin Fruit

After putting away Hun Yang's storage ring, Hun Changqing turned and walked towards Hun Yu'er. Hun Yu'er hadn't followed after blasting the Hun Yang away; she was recovering from her injuries in the rear.

Hun Changqing reached Hun Yu'er and smiled, saying,

"Sister, the villain has been killed by me. You can rest assured."

Hun Yu'er stared blankly at Hun Changqing's face. She had never seen such a handsome person!

For a moment, she couldn't recover, her mind racing.

Thinking that this person had just saved her, and was so handsome, although a bit foolish, maybe she shouldn't trick him?

Being together seemed like a good idea? She could train him later...

As Hun Yu'er thought, some inappropriate images came to mind, and she blushed deeply.

Although decisive and ruthless, with blood on her hands, she was still an inexperienced young girl.

Although Hun Changqing was somewhat famous in the clan, not everyone had seen him; at most, they had heard of him.

Hun Yu'er clearly hadn't seen Hun Changqing before, assuming he was just a rather handsome oddball in the Soul Clan.

If she had seen Hun Changqing, she would be thinking about how to escape and beg for mercy right now, not these pointless thoughts.

After a while, Hun Yu'er came to her senses, her cheeks flushed, and she said shyly to Hun Changqing

, "Thank you so much, cousin brother. You saved me from danger. I am extremely grateful. When I return to the clan, I will do my best to repay you."

Hun Changqing looked at the extremely shy Hun Yu'er with interest and asked

, "Oh? How will you repay me?"

Hun Yu'er felt her face burning even more after hearing Hun Changqing's words.

"I don't have any background in the clan, otherwise I wouldn't have been treated like this. I have no way to repay you, I can only..."

Hun Yu'er became more and more embarrassed as she spoke, and finally lowered her head and didn't continue. After all, she was just a girl of seventeen years old, and it was too embarrassing to say these words.

Looking at Hun Yu'er's pretentious demeanor, Hun Changqing's eyes remained cold and unwavering. He continued,

"Does the last part mean you're offering yourself in return?"

Hun Yu'er blushed and playfully scolded

  , "Brother! You're so annoying!"

She then playfully patted Hun Changqing's chest with her delicate hand.

"Since you're offering yourself in return, there's no need to return to the clan. Just stay here."

Still lost in her beautiful fantasies, Hun Yu'er was slightly taken aback by Hun Changqing's words. She then pointed blankly at the ground.

  "Ah?...Here...here?"

Hun Changqing's coldness deepened as he spoke.

"Yes, here. You wanted to offer yourself in return, so hand your body over to me to deal with!"

Before Hun Yu'er could react, Hun Changqing had already struck. With one hand, he braced himself and struck Hun Yu'er's heart, instantly piercing it.

Hun Yu'er stared blankly at the hands that had pierced her heart, then looked up at Hun Changqing's face, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. She asked haltingly,

  "Why?"

Hun Changqing simply smiled at her and said,

"I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? Let me tell you, my name is Hun Changqing."

Hearing this, Hun Yu'er instantly understood, the confusion in her eyes vanishing.

Although she had never met Hun Changqing, she had heard of him—a rising star among the younger generation of the clan, ruthless and cold-blooded, never acting without self-interest.

She instantly realized that Hun Changqing had come here to kill and steal treasure.

Hidden in the shadows, he had overheard her conversation with Hun Yang.

As for tearing her heart out, that was even less surprising; in the Hun clan, there were countless people who wanted to tear others' hearts out.     She initially wanted to pry open Hun Changqing's heart, but changed her mind after seeing his face.

  Hun Changqing said calmly,

"Since you want to repay me with your body, then your body is mine, so please die."

Then, ignoring Hun Yu'er's resentful gaze, he killed her, eliminating her completely in one fell swoop.

After killing Hun Yu'er, Hun Changqing sat down on the spot and began to check Hun Yang and Hun Yu'er's storage rings.

Before long, he found the Corrosive Sound Fruit and the Half-Life Corrosive Yin Grass, and their storage rings also contained many rare resources, which made Hun Changqing very satisfied.

"Indeed, murder and arson bring wealth, while repairing bridges and roads leaves no trace. The spoils from these two alone are half of what I've gained from wandering around here for three days,"

Hun Changqing thought with satisfaction. He then put everything into his own storage ring and left the place with a pleasant mood.

Little did he know that the commotion he had caused earlier had attracted two people who were not particularly friendly to him.

Not far from the scene of the crime, Hun Feng and Hun Yu had just killed several Soul Clan disciples and were checking their loot when Hun Feng suddenly stood up and looked towards the place where Hun Changqing had fought earlier.

Hun Feng's eyes narrowed slightly, and Hun Yu walked to his side, licking his lips wickedly, and said,

"Looks like something happened over there. Tsk tsk, looks like they found some treasure! Too bad they ran into me. Let's go over there and have that person hand over the opportunity they obtained; it's their honor."

Hun Feng glanced at the pretentious Hun Yu, too lazy to pay him any attention, and directly stepped into the void, flying towards the place where the battle had taken place.

*Damn it, everyone's dead here, who are you showing off to? Me?*

Seeing that Hun Feng ignored him and left, Hun Yu cursed him inwardly for not giving him face,

then quickly followed Hun Feng, afraid that if they were late, Hun Feng would take all the good stuff.

Hun Feng and Hun Yu arrived one after the other at the place where the battle had taken place. The scene was a mess, with broken rocks and trees, dust flying everywhere, and various signs of battle aura destruction.

Hun Feng carefully observed the battlefield, sensing the battle aura within. He quickly recognized one particular aura as familiar and, after a moment's thought, identified its owner:

Hun Changqing, whom he and Hun Yu were searching for.

Seeing that this place was related to Hun Changqing, Hun Feng's expression darkened, and he examined the battlefield even more closely.

He soon discovered two pools of blood hundreds of meters apart, each bearing an aura.

"Hmm?! The Yin-Eating Fruit? Damn it! Too late, Hun Changqing! Ruthless enough to obliterate someone completely!"

Hun Feng never expected the Yin-Eating Fruit to exist here, especially since Hun Changqing had gotten it first!

Furthermore, Hun Changqing had utterly destroyed his opponent, leaving no trace, making it impossible for Hun Feng to find any useful information from the corpse.

The Yin-Eating Fruit wasn't particularly useful or valuable, but it was extremely difficult to find.

Its conditions for growth were incredibly demanding, yet it was something Hun Feng desperately needed recently, as he had also been practicing the battle technique Hun Yu had previously used—Ghost Dance Soul Hand.

This fighting technique is incredibly powerful, and Hun Feng was naturally very interested in it. However, he was stuck at the final step, unable to successfully cultivate it because he lacked the Yin-Eating Fruit.

Since Hun Yu had cultivated this fighting technique before Hun Feng, all the remaining stock in the Hun Clan had been taken by Hun Yu, causing Hun Feng great anxiety.

He had already instructed others to search outside the clan, but there had been no news. Now, he had actually found the Yin-Eating Fruit in this secret realm.

At first, he was overjoyed, but when he discovered that his old acquaintance had taken it, Hun Feng's face turned extremely grim.
