Chapter 2 -  Chapter 2 Reincarnation

 "Bang!"

Lin Changqing rolled down the forest path, his body finally tumbling off the path uncontrollably, sliding sideways and crashing to the ground like a tattered sack.

  "Ugh... Holy crap!"

Lin Changqing shakily stood up, looking utterly disheveled. His once-handsome hairstyle was now a mess, with several weeds sticking out of his hair.

His clean white casual short-sleeved shirt was now a dusty rag, and he had several scrapes on his body. His arms and legs ached as if they were broken.

  "Am I getting my comeuppance?"

Lin Changqing was bewildered by this sudden misfortune, asking himself uncertainly before looking around.

The surrounding area was overgrown with weeds, swarming with mosquitoes, and the trees grew crookedly, clearly neglected by the mountain staff.

After hesitating for a moment, Lin Changqing gritted his teeth, clutching his hand, and limped forward. He didn't know where he was, nor where his phone was. His hands and feet were throbbing with pain, and he couldn't possibly crawl back from where he had fallen. He could only keep walking and see if there was a path ahead.

  ...

After walking for about half an hour, passing through the woods, a crystal cave came into Lin Changqing's view. Seeing this cave, Lin Changqing froze. He felt as if he had seen this cave somewhere before.

Moreover, a voice seemed to be urging him from deep within, as if something inside was extremely important to him.

Lin Changqing gritted his teeth and walked into the cave. Upon entering, Lin Changqing felt a bone-chilling cold, which felt eerily strange in the sweltering heat of midsummer, sending chills down his spine.

But Lin Changqing still gritted his teeth, forcibly suppressing his unease, and followed the voice within his heart, walking further into the cave.

  ...

Finally, he reached the depths of the cave, where a spacious area came into view. Inside the space was a small stone platform with a groove on it, where something seemed to be placed. In front of the platform was a small pool, as black as ink, which looked incredibly eerie. Seeing this, Lin Changqing hesitated.

Suddenly, a blinding light flashed from the groove on the stone platform, shooting towards Lin Changqing and entering his brain. A violent buzzing sound instantly filled his head, and he lost consciousness, his body falling into the black pool.

  ...

When Lin Changqing regained consciousness, he found himself in a strange space. He no longer had a physical body; his soul was enveloped by an energy, while another energy within the space converged towards his soul, only to be dispersed by the energy within his soul. Finally, his soul was enveloped by the energy deep within his soul.

Suddenly, his soul felt a sharp pain, and a series of messages flooded his mind.

He didn't know how much time had passed before he finally sorted through the information within his soul.

"The True Understanding of Taiyin... Divine Water... Reincarnation? The True Body of Taiyin? Me?"

Through the information in his soul, Lin Changqing discovered that he was originally the so-called True Body of Taiyin, but because there was no energy in his previous world, the Taiyin essence was hidden deep within his soul.

The energy within that cave activated his Taiyin True Body, infusing his soul with the divine waters from three mythical legends and the inheritance of the Taiyin True Body, thus reincarnating him into another world.

At this moment, he was still in his mother's womb, the Taiyin essence within his soul reshaping his innate Taiyin True Body. Lin Changqing had already learned about the other energy within the womb through the outside world.

This was the Dou Qi Continent, the Dou Qi Continent he knew. His current location belonged to the Soul Clan, and those energies were none other than the innate bloodline power of the Soul Clan, though it had been completely eliminated by his Taiyin essence.

  "The Soul Clan…"

After understanding his situation, Lin Changqing fell into a deep sleep. He had experienced too much in such a short time; he was exhausted, both mentally and physically.
