Reign was at the Moonlight Pavilion door when, from afar, he saw Evie run to him. He was shocked; he stood rooted to the ground. She opened the door with a big smile, rushing into his arms.

He then looked at her arms to find that she was missing both of them. "What happened to your arms?" he asked her.
"My arms? Oh, they were burnt really badly, so I cut them off," she responded, looking at him and smiling, and his heart stopped.
