The way to the city centre was very beautiful; the streets were clean, and hundreds of big old linden trees lined the roadside. Evie put the curtains on her carriage up and sat by the window, looking out. "Wow, so beautiful," she said. "Your Highness, it is not your first time seeing this; why are you so amazed?" Cathy asked, looking out to see what Evie was seeing. "I was running away then; when will I have the time to look at the streets and admire them?" Evie said, making Cathy laugh. "You are right, Your Highness," she said, covering her mouth.
"Here, Your Highness," Cathy said, handing Evie the bag, her voice high with excitement. "The line of civilians starts there," she said, pointing ahead. Evie looked ahead to find that both sides of the road were packed with people. She hurriedly knocked on the side, trying to regain her balance as the carriage came to an emergency stop.
