The sign at Moonlight Pavilion went up and was causing a stir within the whole palace, as a small group of maids formed in front of the gate. Even though they didn't know how to read, the words already reached both Rose and Phoenix Pavilion simultaneously.
"Did she really write that?" the Empress asked, sitting on her gazebo. "What do you think she meant by that?" the Empress asked, looking down at Dorothy. "I'm not really sure, Your Highness, but it is really clear she is looking for attention. But putting it up after you visited Moonlight Pavilion this morning is really disrespectful," she added, massaging the Empress's legs.
"The emperor has appointed Lady Catherine Pierre as her Lady-in-Waiting, Your Highness," Dorothy said, and the Empress's breath stalled in her lungs. "And Catherine accepted it?" The empress asked, almost breathless. "Yes, she did. She was brought to the palace yesterday by Arthur," Dorothy replied.
