"Hoh, I gotta say I feel a lot lighter now that I came clean to you," Orion spoke as he sat back down on the sofa after they broke their kiss.
"I still can't believe you have the Red Dragon's soul." She paused. "Wait… does this mean you are the Red Dragon now?"
Orion shrugged.
"Who knows. But Lilian, I won't force you to be part of my goal. If it's too much for you, I understand. I know you hate the Demon Queen. So if you don't want to, don't force yourself."
"What? Are you planning to abandon me?" she spoke, her aura turning oppressive.
"What? No. You know what I mean."
Lilian chuckled.
"Don't worry. I hated the Demon Queen when she was just the Demon Queen, but after learning all this and her being the daughter of the Red Dragon, she doesn't sound too bad." Her eyes narrowed. "But promise me one thing—you won't make her your girlfriend when we rescue her."
Orion didn't answer for a moment, and that alone made Lilian furious.
