Chapter 10 - The Ultimate warzone #1

In a world were people die more than leaves fall of trees in autumn, it's not that surprising that we are all congested in one island.

20k of us remain on this island with an unknown number of other players on other islands,so it's not surprising that the system wants all of us to fight.

[System message: chaos mode]

[Survive]

"In the early hours of morning as well. Ah as if this day could get any worse." I thought to myself as the players began to form into their respective teams.

This was very interesting g to see. Players all going to people they trusted. How fitting.

We didn't fight right away as no one had the guts to shoot first and start this war. It was rather easy to relocate in to the bushes when people remain in one place.

"You guys are so ignorant, but hey ignorance is bliss right?" I said.

Then I began my assault, shooting at tge teams that decided to stay in the open field.

That netted me 25 kills uising 25 bullets, precision at its finest, i thought murders of such a high calibre would at least know to take cover.

Unfortunately for them, I had no mercy left after Jack died, so it was bullet after bullet.

We then started to migrate to higher ground in search of a place to use as cover. We then came across a group of 4 players at an abandoned camping ground.

My LW3 Tundra ensured a fun time shooting at them. My shots took put one of them with Jake also killing one leaving the others who ran when they saw their brethren die.

"Running for the hills then.. This should be fun"

We trailed from behind when we found a broken down armory building in the distance.

In there we found a pack of sixteen grenades which I am surprisingly unfamiliar with.

Though my knowledge was good with guns, grenades where completely out of my expertise, so I let jake have all the fun in using the grenades.

He ran up to those two enemies, literally the grenades and ran the other way, but when they looked at him, it was too late.

BOOOM!!

2 random enemies were downed with only one explosive, and we have 15 more. It was safe to say that we were relaxed through the first part of this quite eventful first 2 fights in this war.

One thing was for sure, we were not to be messed with, with the help of a long ranged throwable, we could announce our presence without driving for another minute or two.

This was very useful at the time as the intimidation factor from the grenades and my stealth could combo well with each other. The grenades would be thrown and I would come shortly after to take out the survivers.

We felt unstoppable. The confidence was there but we needed one thing to back up the confidence, experience.

So we tried the grenades in a practical test, basically testing them on a live team.

Jake threw the grenades, with me following trying to keep a low profile. When the grenades exploded 2 players died leaving three to run away who were made quik work of by my M13.

We continued fighting like this when we saw a bounty board with our names and faces on them. We were terrorising the game with the strategy that we perfectly curated.

The bounty over our heads was worth a whoping 30k coins.

That was a lot, and with the merchant returning in a day, we decided to try and clear out the competition as effectively as possible.

As we were hiding,we would leave traces of our whereabouts waiting for the players to slip up and take the bait.

After a week of ceasefire as they tried to find us, we built a shelter and began talking about life in this world like we do most of the time, but this time Jake opened up about his plans for the future if we manage to survive.

About the way he wants to finish school and maybe get a normal job which he would do if we do survive.

But just when things got wholesome, the bait was taken.

I don't think my gun was ever used that often in such a short burst in my entire life.

All I saw was bodies dropping left and right pools of blood staining the wood poles made for our shelter in a deep crimson colour.

The sickening view was a little bit much for me and so I began cleaning the bodies off of the ground right next to me.

Then the system shut down PVP, so no players could fight, the reason being the merchant coming back.

Surprisingly, no one purchased from the merchant. I guess because we couldn't have been raiding towers for coins as we had all been fighting for all these days.

Then to spice the game up the system gave each player 100 coins for every kill they had racked up so far during the war.

Jake and I turned out to have the most at a total of 30k coins each.

We bought a blueprint that upgrades weapons to the silver tier which will give more boosts that would be indicated when the player upgrades the weapons.

The merchant had a lot of clients at the time which was probably gearing the competition a lot. That meant we would have to be able to gear up as well which would be a daunting task in the scenario as the PVP would be enabled once more only a three days from now.

This has given the world players a bit of time to upgrade their weapons, this makes the game more competitive and dangerous than before which, neither improves the game nor ruins it.

It just adds a level of difficulty which will be thoroughly tested and combated against by the best that we could produce.

The system then enabled PVP indicating that fighting may resume, so Jake and I decided to attack some teams while they were still preparing, when we say the most dangerous thing yet.
