Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Exploring a New World… and Trouble Finds You

Vyuk blinked as the white light faded, and suddenly, he found himself standing on soft grass under a vast sky.

"Woah… this is huge," he muttered, looking around. Mountains floated in the distance, rivers glowed faintly, and strange birds flew overhead—some transparent, some glowing. "Okay… definitely not my office."

He crouched, touched the grass, and jumped lightly. Everything felt alive, as if the world itself was breathing.

Vyuk grinned. "Alright, let's see what this place has to offer."

He wandered through the bizarre landscape, picking up strange fruits that smelled like candy, poking at flowers that shimmered like tiny stars, and occasionally dodging a floating rock or two.

"This is… amazing," he said, laughing. "I mean, I've seen tons of anime with cute girls, magical worlds, and heroes… but this is actually happening. Hmmm… I wonder… are there any cute girls here too?"

Vyuk's thoughts trailed off into daydream territory.

Maybe I'll meet one. Just one. Nothing wrong with exploring, right?

Suddenly, a soft voice called out from behind a tree.

"Hey… traveler."

Vyuk spun around and saw a girl stepping out. She looked cute at first glance—big sparkling eyes, long hair flowing in the breeze, petite frame.

Vyuk's heart jumped. "Finally… yes, a… wait…"

Before he could react, the girl grinned slyly. "Surprise!"

In a blink, she drew a small dagger that glowed faintly. Her movements were too fast to track.

Vyuk froze. Something about her felt… wrong.

The girl lunged at him with lightning speed. Vyuk barely had time to react. "Woah! Okay, maybe she's not just cute!"

Instinctively, Vyuk activated his super speed ability he had chosen during the goddess's summoning. He zipped forward, grabbed her wrist, twisted it behind her back, and slammed her gently but firmly into the ground.

The girl hit the ground with a thud, her dagger clattering away. She was conscious, but clearly stunned.

Vyuk stepped back, panting slightly. "Okay… lesson learned. Cute on the outside… killer on the inside. Noted."

The girl blinked, a mixture of confusion and embarrassment crossing her face. "You… you are fast. What… what are you?"

Vyuk rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm just… Vyuk. And apparently, your fan club didn't warn you I exist."

He grinned. "By the way… nice try, but I think you'll need more than speed and sneaky attacks to take me down."

The girl huffed and crossed her arms. "Hmph. You're lucky I didn't want to actually kill you."

Vyuk tilted his head. "Lucky? I should probably thank you for that, huh?"

The girl glared, then muttered, "Next time… maybe not."

Vyuk laughed. "Next time? I'm already loving this world."

He glanced at the floating islands and glowing rivers again, then looked back at the girl. "But hey… let's not fight immediately, okay? I just got here, and I kinda want to explore… maybe even meet a few more 'cute' people without nearly dying."

The girl's expression softened a little. "You're… reckless."

"Maybe," Vyuk admitted, spinning once in place. "But that's kind of the point."

And with that, Vyuk continued his wandering, smiling at the thought that this fantasy world was going to be way more chaotic—and way funnier—than he ever expected.

Little did he know… the girl was already plotting a sneaky comeback, and Vyuk's first "casual day in a new world" had just turned into a mini adventure he wasn't ready for.
