"Hey barkeep, why is this place called Dark Forest town, I passed through the mountain range and there is nothing dark about the forest"
an old man with a grey beard so long it was touching his chest replied as he served another cup of ale to the man sitting in front of him dressed in silver robes "Aye this must be your first time passing through here, right?"
"Indeed, how did you tell?" the man in silver robes asked his voice tainted with curiosity.
"That's easy everyone who is from here or frequent this route knows the tale of the curse of dark forest.
several years ago a battle between two powerful figures took place on the mountain the battle between the one the world called the martial emperor and the dark emperor, they had fought each other for an entire month day and night crossing vast distance and destroying everything in their path and then it was over the martial emperor had prevailed shattering the body of his enemy on the peak of this mountain range and with the death of the dark emperor every piece of land, every rock, plant animal, human living in this region where his blood was spilled became filled with darkness.
It was a darkness that consumed everything and everyone, the once nurturing green plants turned completely dark and became life threatening, animals turned on their own kind, killing everything in sight and for humans it was the worst the darkness brought out the very worst mothers slaughtered their babies, husband turned against their wives brother turned against brother
for years dark forest was a place consumed by darkness and madness and then change come just after that war a disciple of the elemental sovereign performed a huge spell that cleansed the entire region of every trace of the dark emperor's corruption.
"Life and liveliness returned to dark forest town, but the name stuck and thus ends the tale of dark forest town" the old man said, he poured another cup of ale for the man in silver robes before he asked
"What brings you to this part of town?"
the man in silver robes turned towards the mountain range his eyes shone with a sharp silver light
"I came here to meet someone, but he has been delayed, guess I'm going to have to go and find him" it was then that the sounds of a large boom echoed across the air from the mountain range
his gaze still at the mountain he tossed a couple of gold coins to the old man who had shared his company

"don't bother it was- the mouth of the old man froze in shock as the man in silver robes had disappeared without a trace.
And few seconds after the man in silver robes vanished the sky was painted with a crimson hue

it only had enough time to look up and see the monstrosity in front of him and gone was the boy who had faced him with nothing but his body was now a monstrosity covered in black scales radiating the pressure of something ancient that all thought of fighting fled from his mind ' just what am I fighting' was the lost thought on its mind before he was washed away in a fiery blaze
Cassius watched as his opponent was sent flying before he coughed up a mouthful of blood, that crimson orb was dangerous and would have caused some serious damage if I had not activated {Dragon transformation} he thought looking at the black majestic scales that covered his body.
but it's time to end this no matter how special Cassius knew activating two of his bloodlines was putting an enormous strain on his body so if he didn't end this now it will be his loss and so he charged channeling his ether he charged forward.

Cassius swung his hand forward in a claw form ripping apart everything in his part including a large chunk of flesh from his opponent
the monster knelt on the ground blood spilling out of its wounds in large quantity this time its wounds didn't heal as fast as before.
it watched as Cassius walked towards his kneeling body victory assured, it shook its head "it's not going to end here"

Black mist surged into its body in vast amount, causing his aura to surge as it took that final step into the arcane rank, it unleashed a loud roar causing a blast of soundwave to send Cassius a few steps back.
with a single step the monster vanished and reappeared in front of Cassius delivering an uppercut that lifted him off the ground and rattled his skull at the same time its tail wrapped around Cassius waist slamming him deep into the ground.
It walked up to Cassius and raised his foot before slamming it into Cassius back his previously majestic scale was now filled with cracks and then it grabbed Cassius by the throat and used its tail to pierce Cassius chest, it brought the tail to his mouth and licked Cassius blood of it
"delicious" it said before slamming Cassius into the ground
