Chapter 4 - Chapter 5; The Gods

The battle between the brothers had barely ended when a far greater threat emerged—one beyond anything they had imagined.

The gods ruled the galaxy, but even they answered to higher beings known simply as the Gods. Among them were two forces meant to keep existence in balance: the God of Life, who restored what was lost, and the God of Death, who claimed what must end.

Long ago, a violent conflict shattered that balance. After a fierce argument among the Gods, the God of Death was defeated and banished to the Banished Realm. But now, terrifying news reached Zeus—the God of Death had returned, and he intended to fulfill the promises he had made long ago.

Fearing what was to come, Zeus summoned fourteen teenagers and gave them a mission: find the God of Life and warn him of the coming threat.

They scattered across the galaxy.

"Let's spread out," Zandra said. "That way we can find him faster."

"I agree," Lily replied.

Zambia spoke next. "Zumba, Zandra, Lily, Diana—you're with me. We'll search the center of the galaxy. The rest of you check the edges."

They searched endlessly, but found nothing.

"This is hopeless," Zumba said at last. "I doubt the God of Life even exists."

"Don't give up," Zandra insisted.

Diana looked at the readings again. "There's only one thing left—a black hole at the center. What if it's the entrance to his realm?"

Lily nodded. "It's worth the risk."

Without another word, they entered the black hole.

Instead of destruction, they emerged onto a vast water-covered world. A single beautiful house floated above the endless ocean. Drawn to it, they approached and knocked loudly.

A voice thundered from inside.

"Who dares disturb my morning?"

Zambia muttered, "He calls this morning?"

The door creaked open.

"Leave at once," the God of Life said coldly.

Zumba stepped forward. *"Forgive us.

We carry a message from Zeus—about the God of Death."

The God of Life went silent. Without another word, he invited them inside.

As they spoke of the God of Death's return, sorrow filled his eyes. He finally told them the truth.

"We were created to keep the universe in equilibrium," he said. "I give life. He takes it away. But long ago, evil grew too fast. Death planned an event that would erase countless lives—even minor gods who broke the rules. We stopped him… and banished him instead."

His voice lowered. "If he has returned, he will try to restore balance again—no matter the cost. Entire species could vanish."

"Then we must stop him," Zumba said.

The God of Life turned away. "I cannot help you."

Zandra stepped forward, anger blazing in her eyes. "You're the only one who can match him. My planet was destroyed because of the mistakes of gods like you—and I won't let that happen again."

The words struck deep.

Though they left in anger and disappointment, the God of Life offered one last hope.

"Seek the God of Time," he said. "He is called Timer."

Zumba went alone to find Timer, while the others returned to aid Zeus—the God of Death had already begun his attack.

Zumba reached the planet where Timer resided.

"Timer," he said, "I need your help."

What followed was a brutal clash. Zumba fought with everything he had, but Timer was far beyond him. Instead of strength, Zumba spoke with honesty—and it worked.

Timer joined the battle and summoned the other Gods. Help arrived sooner than expected.

"Join me, brother," the God of Death said, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "Let us restore equilibrium once more."

"Stop this madness," Timer commanded.

A devastating battle erupted. Even united, the Gods were no match for Death. Only one being could stand against him.

Elsewhere, the God of Life watched the battle through a glowing sphere. Zandra's words echoed in his mind.

At the battlefield, the sky darkened. Death smiled.

"You've finally come," he said. "Prepare yourself, brother."

The battle was fierce, but Death had grown stronger during his exile. The God of Life began to fall.

Seeing this, Zumba rushed in to help. Together they fought, but Zumba was eventually struck down, leaving the God of Life alone.

Death spoke of the endless pain and loneliness of the Banished Realm. Regret consumed Life.

In the final moment, Death gathered all his power and hurled a spear charged with destruction.

The God of Life did not move.

Shocked, Death redirected the attack.

"Why didn't you dodge?" he demanded.

Life lowered his head. "Because your banishment was my fault. And I am ready to pay the price."

• Death froze. For the first time, he understood.

*"Let stop this war and leave the past behind" Death said *

"you will really do that" said Life

""come on friend said" Death

And so the battle ended and peace was restored to the universe but what has destiny been trying to say, keep reading the sound of thunder.
