Kia's POV
With an enraged look in his face, my eldest big brother then discreetly drag my arm to whisper. "What the hell are you thinking, Kia?! are you trying to embarrass us now?! Marrying a Mafia Boss?!" He growled, squeezing my arm tight, making my face go sour.
But I didn't let that intimidate me, instead I murmured back. "Come on, big brother. Don't you think it will be the best and easiest way to get rid of me? Just think of it, if he actually kills me, then you guys won't have any problems to deal with."
Of course, he hissed and squeezed my arm harder, actually making me groan at the process, and as he was about to talk again, came a tall towering figure beside me, grabbing me by the waist.
"Let go of my little wife, or I'll break those bones of yours." Sol threatened gruffly, making my big brother shakingly let go.
And as it stood beside me at the same stage where Sil and Ara are, he smirked at them, before whispering to me. "You know I don't belong to this kind of gathering, don't you? Would you mind if I just kidnap you in front of all of them, right now?" He asked, his voice husky and gruff, but is tinged with something else.
"No. In fact, I would be more than willing to get out of this pretentious place." I then replied.
Amused, he then let out snicker. "Then hold on to me tight, we're going." He warned before scooping me into his arms.
And I who had nothing against it then clung to him to tight, letting him carry me out of that place and into his car.
Settling me into the back seat before going in himself, he then ordered the driver. "To the Mafia House."
Then the driver looked back at him glancing at me. "But.."
"No buts! This little lady wants to be wife so drive the goddamn car to the Mafia House, I want the family to meet there future Madamme!" Sol scowled, gruffly running his hand through his hair, obviously holding back his frustration in front of me.
Probably sensing his simmering anger, the driver then finally obliged, driving off.
The drive was fast, smooth and quiet, but not to the point of me getting awkward, so I just let it be, until the car comes to a stop.
"We're here, boss." The driver said.
Nodding without saying anything, he then opened the door and get out, silently offering his hand to help me out, which I gladly take.
And as I stood before him, I couldn't help but to look around. "Wow! It's huge!" I murmured, utterly amazed.
Then he looked at me and said. "You're weird, aren't you? You're supposedly to be scared or nervous to know you're entering a lion's den, you know?"
But I shrugged. "If you were me, getting back into that same mansion with my family is the real nightmare." I murmured, already walking towards its entrance, knocking on the big door politely.
There, he let out a genuine laugh. "Aren't you a sweetheart, Kia? We don't do that, we do this." He said, opening the door for me.
"Oh! I thought I needed to knock like some morse code before someone opens it." I said, finally stepping in with him.
As the big door closes, the hallway was then soon filled with different kinds of men, all of them eyeing me curiously, until someone comes close, towering me before looking at Sol.
"A new toy?" The man said, ogling me from head to toe, earning a firm slap from Sol.
With a deep and meancing growl, Sol grabbed its collar and said. "This one is no toy! She had bethroated herself to be my wife, and that mades her your future madamme! Now go and apologize for your mistake!"
Then, almost immediately, the man knelt before me. "I'm so sorry, Madamme. I didn't mean to disrespect you." It said.
"Go hit him if you must, Kia. What he did was isn't proper." Sol whispered but I just shake and head.
"There's no need, I'm sure he learned his lesson when you slap him." I said, walking past the man, strutting at the hallway, eager to look at the place, making everyone get out of my way as I do so.

Sol's POV
Following Kia around as she explored the house eagerly, my right hand man went whispering to me. "The Madamme is quite interesting isn't she? I never seen a girl this eager to roam around this house this free."
Nodding, I then whispered back. "She's amusing more than interesting, Vlad. She got me curious when she suddenly wished to be bethroted to me at her debut night."
There, Vlad looked at me with questioning eyes, then started burst out laughing. "Oh my, looks like we're gonna have a busybody running into these halls real soon."
Smirking, I nod. "I just have a good feeling about her. I feel like that there's some gem in her that is waiting to be polished." I said, unkowingly gazed fixed on her.
Following my gaze, Vlad then clicked his tongue and started shaking his head "Be careful then, there are brittle gems that could crumble with just a little crack."
I groaned at that. "Am I that bad with girls, man?" I asked, suddenly curious.
And there, Vlad shook his head and said. "No, I am talking about what we do. Do you think she can take it?"
"W-well, I can't say for sure, but I think she knows what she got herself into. There was something in her eyes when I look into it." I murmured, can't really take my eyes off Kia.
Now, I can hear Vlad talking, but I can't comprehend with anything, because as I looked at Kia from afar, I noticed the big bruise in her arm.
"Damnit! Go get me a female doctor! I want her to be checked tonight!" I growled, striding towards Kia.
"Exploring can wait tomorrow, I'm taking you home." I said, gently grabbing her hand and walking her out.
