"You, you, you, you, you..."
Hidan pointed at the suddenly appearing Simu. His mouth hung open, and he was nearly speechless.
Furthermore, his gaze rapidly shifted from shock to deep suspicion and scrutiny.
Simu slowly used both hands to slick back his wet hair, looking at Hidan with a half-smile. "What is it, Mr. Hidan? Did seeing me excite you so much that your brain shriveled?"
Hearing this sentence, Hidan was finally certain that the pretentious prick in front of him was truly Simu!
The excitement on his face flashed and vanished, instantly replaced by a terrifying rage.
"You bastard, you actually lied to me! I'll kill you!"
Hidan lifted his spear and charged directly at Simu.
Just as the spear was about to transfix him, a red shadow flashed. Following a dizzying whirl, Hidan's head was held in Simu's hand.
A slight blush crept across Hidan's pale face, and he let out a sharp gasp.
That's it, this is the right feeling!
Seeing him like this, Simu teased with a smile, "Tsk, tsk. Just a moment ago, you had the expression of someone dying of grief because I was gone, yet now you're acting shy."
How could our great Lord Hidan accept such a melodramatic setting as "the grieving wife blackening to destroy the world because of her husband's death"? He immediately retorted in a fury:
"Hey, hey, hey! This lord didn't take down that old geezer and the Jashin Religion because you died! I've been annoyed with them for a long time!"
"Oh~~ Is that so~"
Simu put on a look of sudden realization. He then pinched his nose and mimicked Hidan in a sorrowful, deep tone: "Since that guy is dead, then you, and the entire Jashin Religion, shall be buried with him."
"Aaahhhhhhh!"
Hidan's face turned beet red. He snapped instantly!
For the great Lord Hidan, this was truly a case of "social death" to the extreme!
"I'm going to kill you!"
He shouted frantically, trying to use the Parasitic Spider to pull his body back. However, he discovered that the Parasitic Spider inside his body was no longer under his control.
Only then did he remember that the Parasitic Spider was also created by this damn guy!
Simu patted Hidan's head, comforting him, "Alright, alright, don't get worked up."
"Kamizuki Simu! I will definitely kill you, I promise!" Hidan said through gritted teeth.
Simu smiled and said, "Don't do that again. Even if a fool like you dies ten thousand times, it's impossible for me to truly die."
He adjusted his glasses, a trace of disdain flashing across the lenses.
"People like that, no matter how they scheme, cannot pose any threat to me."
Simu slowly stepped onto the bank from the Blood Pool and looked at Hidan's body. "By comparison, your strength is still too weak. We need to give you a proper update."
Without waiting for Hidan's reaction, he kicked Hidan's body into the Blood Pool and then tossed the head in after it.
"Go get a good remodeling."
Hidan: "Glug, glug, glug..."
After properly settling Hidan, Simu finally walked toward the outside of the temple.
At this moment, the Jashin Religion headquarters was virtually indistinguishable from hell. Blood flowed in rivers, corpses were piled like mountains, and countless crows were cawing.
Simu's expression remained unchanged at the sight.
What he cared about more right now was the jutsu the Leader had used to reincarnate into another's body.
If he remembered correctly, it should be called the Living Corpse Reincarnation...
Simu smiled slightly and pushed up his glasses.
"I wonder how much longer you plan to hide, sir?"
Amidst the pile of corpses, Simu's soliloquy seemed somewhat eerie. Yet, he wore a smile of absolute confidence, as if someone truly existed right before his eyes.
Sure enough, in the next second, a body slowly emerged from the ground.
It appeared to be some kind of Earth Style jutsu.
"As expected of Simu-kun. How exactly did you discover me? Was it because of these crows?"
The man looked at the circling crows and spoke with considerable surprise.
Simu maintained his indifferent smile and said, "May I ask for your esteemed name?"
The man before him had long black hair and skin that was unnaturally pale. There was faint purple eyeshadow around his eyes, and his pupils were pale yellow slits. He radiated a cold aura, feeling much like a chilly, venomous snake.
A purple rope was tied around his waist. If Simu remembered correctly, this item was somewhat similar to the shimenawa used in Japanese legends to demarcate divine territory and represent Yin deities.
Based on the context of this world, this person was quite the big shot.
The newcomer flashed a smile that actually looked somewhat similar to Simu's!
"Allow me to introduce myself, Simu-kun. My name is Orochimaru."
"Orochimaru?"
Simu gazed at the person. That name certainly fit the tone of this world.
Seeing Simu's unmoved reaction, the cold man calling himself Orochimaru looked a bit surprised.
It had been a long time since he met someone who didn't recognize the weight of his name.
"It seems Simu-kun doesn't quite understand the weight of this name."
Every word from Orochimaru was like a snake's hiss, making one's skin crawl.
However, Simu was not human.
He felt nothing toward Orochimaru's words. He simply smiled and asked, "Mr. Orochimaru... I really didn't expect you would teach that kind of powerful jutsu to our Leader."
A jutsu capable of seizing the body and abilities of others should be exceptionally precious, even in this world of extraordinary powers.
Orochimaru shrugged and smiled coldly. "It doesn't matter. That was merely an incomplete jutsu. Your Leader was just a test subject. Whether he succeeded or failed, I would have just recycled him afterward."
His tone was full of cold indifference.
"A test subject?"
This guy probably intended to use the Leader's experimental data to help him perfect the jutsu for plundering bodies...
This practice of not treating people as human gave Simu the feeling of a kindred spirit.
Orochimaru, having sensed the same thing, looked at Simu with a trace of eagerness. He narrowed his eyes and said:
"Had I known Simu-kun was this excellent, I shouldn't have collaborated with Takimizu..."
Simu's expression suddenly blanked for a moment.
"Is something wrong?" Orochimaru asked with some confusion.
"It's nothing. This is just the first time I've heard our Leader's name." Simu's expression was sincere.
"I see."
Orochimaru couldn't help but feel a bit of pity for the Jashin Religion Leader.
He stuck out his exceptionally long tongue and licked his dry lips, a hint of greed appearing on his face. "I am very interested in Simu-kun's body."
"Uh..."
"While you certainly have quite the feminine touch, Mr. Orochimaru, I don't have those inclinations for the time being."
Simu declined.
Orochimaru's tongue paused for a moment. Clearly, he hadn't expected Simu to lead the conversation in that direction.
Nevertheless, as a major figure who awed the Shinobi World, he quickly regained his composure.
"It seems Simu-kun is unwilling to offer up his body."
Orochimaru's tone suddenly turned cold, like a venomous snake revealing its lethal fangs.
Simu calmly shook his head.
As the atmosphere between the two changed abruptly, thousands of crows suddenly swarmed toward Orochimaru like a dark cloud!
