The election was tomorrow, and Claire Sinclair's due date was only eight days away.
Claire Sinclair had already bought everything she needed for after the birth. She planned on going to the hospital by herself tomorrow to await labor. With the election so close, she didn't want to distract The Great Demon King Quincy.
That morning, she woke up early and went for a walk in the courtyard, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Around eight o'clock, the sanitation worker came to collect the trash. Claire Sinclair greeted him politely, "Good morning!"
Strangely, the man didn't reply. He just walked in, silently picked up the bagged trash, and turned to leave.
Claire Sinclair felt something was odd, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She turned and headed back inside for breakfast.
