The slightly heavyset man nodded. "Feel free to ask any questions you have."
Claire Sinclair looked at the man and asked politely, "May I have your name and your position here at Astoria Daily?"
"I'm Henry Hartwell, editor-in-chief of the Astoria Daily."
"Hello, Editor Hartwell. And the lady beside you, may I know her name and position as well?"
"I'm Joy King, from the marketing department."
"Hello, Miss Golding. And next to you is...?"
Claire Sinclair went through and greeted everyone sitting in the first row one by one. Just as she was about to start on the second row, the room suddenly erupted in enthusiastic applause.
The sudden applause startled Claire.
'What's going on?'
Once the applause died down, Henry Hartwell said with a smile, "Claire Sinclair, congratulations. You've passed our interview."
"Huh???" Claire's mind went blank. 'This isn't how I thought this would go at all!'
