Mortimer Quincy lifted his chin, signaling for him to grab it himself. He added a friendly warning, "You might lose your appetite after you see this."
"You're underestimating me. I can handle a lot. ABDCA BDAAC." Pantheon turned to his own exam paper and began checking his answers, muttering, "ABCCC BDACD... Argh! I'm not eating!"
Holly Winslow, still at the top of the stairs, heard Pantheon's roar and let out a shameless laugh. "I always thought brainiacs like you didn't stress about checking answers like us slackers do."
"And what did you think we were like?" Mortimer Quincy raised an eyebrow, slinging a long arm around her waist and giving it a couple of soft squeezes.
Holly Winslow slapped his hand, motioning for him to remove it. "That you wouldn't check your answers. Just like Scholar Quincy."
Hearing that last part, the corners of Mortimer Quincy's eyes lifted. "So my wife has a pretty high opinion of me."
