Mika Summers told her parents their wedding would be delayed because Tristan had suddenly fallen ill.

She returned to her room, packed up the luggage her brother had previously sent over, and left the Summers' home.

Jasmine Warren got out of the car and put Mika's luggage in the trunk. "Stay at my place for a few days first, then we'll find you an apartment."

Jasmine Warren smiled wryly and ruffled Mika's hair. "Silly, what's there to thank me for? If I were in trouble, you'd definitely help me too, wouldn't you?"
