"Then why didn't you want me? Cassian..." Gia Miller sobbed, trying to hug Cassian Jennings, but he dodged aside in alarm.
'He didn't know why, either. He was clearly fond of Gia Miller, wasn't he? Her personality was a perfect match for him.'
'But right now, he had no desire to touch her at all. He wasn't even willing to hold her or offer a bit of comfort...'
Gia Miller's arms closed on empty air, and she froze in place, stunned.
"Gia, you're tired. Let me take you home."
As he spoke, Cassian Jennings walked over to the sofa, picked up the blanket that had been tossed on the floor, and wrapped it completely around Gia Miller's body before bending down and sweeping her up into his arms.
Gia Miller didn't say another word, nor did she cry anymore. 'Because no one would truly feel sorry for her.'
The suite was on the fourth floor. To leave, they would inevitably have to pass through the bar on the second floor.
