Watching Tristan do this, Mika Summers was instantly overwhelmed. 'What does this mean? He's not leaving?'
Tristan Grayson paid no mind to Mika's surprised expression. He walked straight to the sofa, took off his jacket, and lay down, closing his eyes to rest.
Mika watched, her heart pounding with anxiety. Finally, she couldn't help but ask, "You're not planning to leave?"
"Why should I leave?" Tristan retorted with a cold smile.
"But... don't you have something to do at the office?"
"That was a lie for our parents." Tristan didn't look back at her, turning his body away instead.
'A lie for our parents?? So Tristan doesn't actually have anything to do at the office at all?'
She had never lived in the same house with Tristan before. Now, she was at a complete loss for what to do.
She stood frozen, watching Tristan for a long time before finally sighing and returning to her room.
