After Shirley Lockwood's words, Eleanor Bishop could no longer refuse. If she kept pushing back, the one who would end up heartbroken was Rory.
When Harold Bishop learned that his daughter was leaving with Archie Lockwood, his brows furrowed tightly. He cast a mild glance at a nearby maid and ordered her to bring out the luggage Eleanor had packed the day before.
An hour later, they returned to the Lockwood villa.
"Ah, we're finally back! There's no place like home!" As soon as she walked through the door, Shirley laughed and bounded toward the sofa in the living room.
Archie's face darkened. He scolded Shirley with obvious dissatisfaction, "Since you know home is the most comfortable place, don't go running off again."
"I didn't run off. I didn't," Shirley snorted dismissively. But barely a moment later, as if something suddenly came to mind, she blinked mischievously at Archie. "Dad, you and Mom must have a lot to talk about! Go on, talk. I won't bother you. Have a nice chat!"
