The sword seller was a Jinglan City employee in his fifties. With makeup on, he really looked the part. After selling the sword to Chen Jincheng, he cryptically remarked that this was no ordinary sword.
The next scene was of Chen Jincheng entering Jinglan City.
Lao Chen planned to add a special effect here.
The goal was to show the audience that as the Boss entered the city, he was traveling through time, leaving the modern world behind.
The scene cut to the inside of the city, now filled with people in period costumes.
