Gu'er and Sun Jiaming first went to the main hall for a look. They didn't see Zhang Lili. The atmosphere was lively, with guests chatting at every table and many engaged in drinking contests. Since no trouble had broken out, the two of them finally relaxed. It seemed Zhang Lili had really left.
They then went to a private room where Li Zhi and Feng Ling were making toasts. The guests in this room were either distinguished individuals or elders, so it wasn't as boisterous as it was with the younger crowd.
Li Zhi and Feng Ling offered three toasts, and the guests responded with words of blessing. Afterward, the couple left for the next private room.
Jiji saw his mommy and daddy and called out to them, but he didn't ask Gu'er to hold him. With so many people doting on him, he wasn't feeling clingy.
