When it came to a god-tier sleep, Wu Yue felt she was the ultimate authority.
She had slept straight through till dawn, her dreams free of ghouls and goblins.
She felt energized and cheerful, but the moment she opened her eyes, she was ready to start cursing.
"Qingcao, what the hell are you doing sitting silently beside my straw bed so early in the morning?"
'You scared the crap out of me!'
Qingcao looked at her resentfully. "You have the nerve to talk? You didn't even come look for me when you got back yesterday. Did you find another Hu Zi out there?"
Wu Yue sat up, shooting her a disdainful sideways glance. "Can't you smell the sweet fragrance of a single pringle wafting off me?"
Qingcao paused at her words, then scooted closer and took a few deep sniffs. "No, I can't. But you do smell really nice."
With that, her eyes lit up. "Is this nice smell the 'sweet fragrance of a single pringle'?"
Wu Yue: "..."
