Julian Peyton muttered softly to himself, peering at Nathan Redgrave through the crack in the open door. 'Dr. Hale's husband is about to be cheated on so thoroughly, he'll be as green as the Verdane Plains. But then again, this Mr. Joyce and Dr. Hale really do make a good pair.'
In the hallway, Nathan Redgrave stubbed out his cigarette, took a few steps toward Morgan Joyce, and swung a clenched fist without warning.
Morgan Joyce staggered, nearly falling. He raised a hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, his gaze turning icy as he looked at Nathan Redgrave. Then, he drew back his arm and threw a hard punch in return.
"Oh my god, they're actually fighting."
Julian Peyton put down his water cup and rushed out to break them up. "Stop fighting, stop fighting! Don't resort to violence when you can just talk! It only causes bad blood!"
