Fiona Keating tucked the long hair that had fallen over her shoulders behind her ear. A soft smile graced her lips as she poured some whiskey into the glass in front of him. "Have a little with me. It's no fun drinking alone."
"I have to drive. I can't drink and drive."
The music in the bar was deafening, and men and women writhed passionately on the dance floor. Fiona Keating leaned closer to Nathan Redgrave, raising her voice to ask, "What did you just say? I couldn't quite hear you."
Nathan Redgrave pinched the bridge of his nose. "I said I'm not drinking. I have to drive later."
"We can get a designated driver. Come on, Nathan, I'm in a terrible mood. Just have one drink with me, please."
Fiona Keating pushed the glass in front of Nathan Redgrave, her dark eyes holding a lost, hazy look.
Nathan Redgrave took the glass and took a small sip. "You should avoid places like this in the future. It's not safe to get too drunk."
