Hannah Hale smiled and nodded. "Okay."
"Laura, you don't need to worry about lunch. I'll have our housekeeper make something and bring it over. And please, take good care of her. Call me anytime if you need anything."
Morgan Joyce grabbed his overcoat from the rack, putting it on as he added his worried instructions.
Hannah Hale looked at Morgan Joyce, a hint of confusion in her eyes. "Didn't you say yesterday that your housekeeper was on leave?"
"...She came back unexpectedly today. I had her make your favorite sweet and sour pork ribs."
"Okay. And please, thank her for me. I hate to trouble her with cooking for me every day."
A comforting smile played on Morgan Joyce's lips. "She's more than happy to be 'troubled' by you. You don't need to thank her anymore."
"Hey, Joyce, have your housekeeper whip something up for me, too."
Zachary Redgrave said shamelessly, shaking his crossed leg.
