Laura Lowell pulled her hand from Aiden Shaw's warm palm, her crystal-clear eyes fluttering slightly. "I have absolutely no inappropriate feelings for you, Dr. Shaw. Asking you to be my fake boyfriend was purely because my boss backed me into a corner."
"Besides, I just think that little girl is adorable, which is why I'm always trying to play with her."
Aiden Shaw gave a serious nod, then said softly, "Go get some rest."
