"Damien? Damien!" Aurora Sterling knelt on the bed, cradling Damien Valerius's body and shaking him gently. Her eyes were fixed on him, unblinking, desperate for any kind of reaction.
But this time, instead of gradually recovering, Damien Valerius suddenly coughed up a mouthful of fresh blood.
After coughing up blood, Damien Valerius lost consciousness completely, and his breathing grew terrifyingly faint.
'Why is this different from last time?'
'But I gave him the medicine!'
'Why!'
Aurora Sterling scrambled off the bed and ran out of the room, not even stopping to put on her shoes.
"Sean Carter! Sean Carter! Quick, call Joanna Jacobs! Get her over here, now!" Aurora Sterling yelled in the hallway.
Hearing Aurora Sterling's cries, Sean Carter burst into the room. He was horrified by the sight of Damien Valerius's condition.
