Seth Quinn carried Clara Grant into the room in his arms, kicked the door shut behind him, then walked over to the bed to put her down.
However, the woman's arms were wrapped firmly around his neck, and for a moment, he couldn't break her grip. After several failed attempts to put her down, she was still clinging to him.
Exasperated, Seth Quinn had no choice but to use both hands to pry her arms apart. Then, with a forceful shove and a THUD, he finally managed to toss her onto the bed.
But before he could even let out a sigh of relief, the woman he had just pushed onto the bed surprisingly scrambled back up and threw her arms around him again.
Her warm breath ghosted over a sensitive spot on his neck. Seth Quinn's eyes instantly tightened, and his Adam's apple bobbed uncontrollably.
"Damn it!" Seth Quinn cursed under his breath. 'How could I have reacted so easily?!'
