Chloe Marshall got up awkwardly, her steps stiff as she walked to the kitchen. Nora Ainsworth stood up as well. "I'll go help."
Quentin Grant didn't object. The place had everything except a cook. The reason was obvious enough: Quentin Grant was wary of hired cooks and usually made his own meals when he came home.
Ethan Ellsworth's playful smile vanished, and he looked at him seriously. "If I'm not mistaken, she's your fiancée's stepsister. Quentin, by doing this, aren't you afraid—"
Quentin Grant tilted his head back slightly. "So you figured it out. What have I ever been afraid of? I have no intention of marrying this so-called fiancée of mine, so what's the harm in having a little fun with her?"
