Cecilia Adler returned to her room, opened the wardrobe, grabbed a change of clothes, and went to the bathroom. After her shower, she stood at the doorway, drying her hair and calling for her grandmother.
"Grandma, Grandma…"
When her grandmother came over, she said, "Grandma, Claire hasn't had her bath yet. Could you keep an eye on things for me?"
"Okay."
Cecilia Adler started to head back to her room when her grandmother said, "Cecilia, what on earth are you so busy with outside all day, every day?" She had said she was coming to take care of a pregnant woman, but all she did every day was wait for meals.
She felt so idle she was starting to feel embarrassed.
"Making money, of course. Didn't you dream that I'd hire lots of people to wait on you? How can I make your beautiful dream come true without money?"
