"Cecilia, there's a phone call for you," Aunt Moss called out.
Cecilia composed herself and went to answer the phone. It was Sharon Lockwood, asking if she wanted to hang out this weekend.
"That's a bit unfortunate. I have to go back to my hometown this weekend, but I'm free next weekend."
"That's right when school starts, and I heard this year's freshmen have a month of military-style training. As the student council president, I'll probably be swamped. I'll call you again when I'm free," Sharon Lockwood said.
"Okay, or I can come to your school to find you."
"Sure. When you get here, just come straight to my dorm. I'll treat you to a meal at our school cafeteria. It tastes even better than the restaurants outside." Sharon Lockwood explained the directions in detail, which Cecilia silently committed to memory before hanging up.
She walked under the eaves, her gaze falling on the closed wooden door of the wing.
