Cecilia Adler reached out and gently pinched her cheek. "Of course."
She sat on the edge of the bed with the little girl to wait for Ian Quincy. About ten minutes later, they heard his voice.
Stepping outside, their eyes met under the eaves.
"Honey, when did you get back?"
Cecilia Adler smiled. "Just a little while ago. When are we going to the movies?"
Ian Quincy lifted his wrist, glancing down at the time. It was 5:15. "It won't be too late to go after dinner."

At seven o'clock, the family of three set off for the movie theater.
When it was time to pick a movie, Cecilia Adler let the little girl choose.
The little girl couldn't read. "I don't know what to pick. My classmates said they watch cartoons. Dad, Mom says you're the most educated person in our family, so you help me choose."
Upon hearing this, the corner of Ian Quincy's mouth quirked up.
'So that's how highly my wife thinks of me.'
'She listens to me about everything.'
