Victor Morgan was stumped by Jessie Sterling's question.
'He'd actually thought the flowers would perfectly fill his Cullinan. Lately, it had become his favorite car to drive to and from work.'
But it was only after having the flowers delivered that he remembered the Valhalla's interior wasn't very spacious.
The tulips he'd brought had filled nearly the entire car, leaving absolutely no room for Jessie to sit.
Now that Jessie had pointed it out, Victor was dumbfounded.
Jessie didn't miss the flicker of astonishment in Victor's eyes, even though it was gone in a flash.
She couldn't help but laugh out loud.
'Who knew that a man who seemed so reliable could be so clumsy when attempting something romantic.'
But she actually found this side of Victor rather cute.
"I think it looks quite nice just like this," Jessie said. "Did you drive here?"
