"Then he said we could be in a relationship, a proper one." Lynn Jennings laughed. "When am I ever *not* in a proper relationship? I'm not a mistress or a side piece. The men I date are all single and unattached. What's not proper about that? But Cyrus Sheridan... we're compatible in bed, so I told him we could be friends with benefits. If he wants a serious girlfriend, he should look for someone else and stop trying to pin me down."
Jessie Sterling couldn't help but give her a thumbs-up. "The queen of players, as expected."
Lynn Jennings's brow furrowed. "It's consensual. How is that being a player?"
Jessie Sterling found herself thinking Lynn had a point and couldn't find a reason to argue.
"Besides, I'm not after his money, and I'm not deceiving him for sex. I'm always upfront about everything," Lynn said. "Just because he wants to get married and be in a relationship doesn't mean I have to go along with it, right? That's definitely not happening."
