Xinghan Mountain Range.
In a newly constructed palace courtyard, Ling Changqing, dressed in magnificent azure and purple robes and with a face as handsome as carved jade, leaned against a Purple Jade Table, engrossed in the Jade Scroll in his hands.
The wide table, about ten feet long, was carved from a single, massive piece of Top Grade, Grade Six Spirit Jade. Its fine, smooth grain shimmered with a treasured luster, and the dense Spiritual Qi it emanated was infused with a mysterious and profound Dao Rhyme, its benefits for Cultivation self-evident.
On the table were various exquisite pastries and Spirit Wine Nectar, all precious Grade Six resources, for him to enjoy as he pleased.
After a long while, Ling Changqing finally closed the Jade Scroll. He picked up an Azure Jade Wine Pot, took a sip, and gently caressed the smooth, delicate face of the Kunpeng Maiden, Qingsi, who was massaging his legs under the table. He then let out a satisfied breath.
