Rage burned in Yun Zaitian's heart at being treated with such disdain. Though he was afraid, the pride of a Chosen made him instinctively want to resist.
He gritted his teeth and sneered, "You want me to submit? Who the hell do you think you are? You're just a hunting dog for the imperial court—AARGH!!!"
Before he could finish his sentence, an utterly bloodcurdling scream tore through the air.
Chu Fan's index finger, like a Divine Sword, had plunged into Yun Zaitian's chest with a sickening squelch, meeting no resistance.
Though his fingertip didn't touch the heart, he gave it a little stir inside!
"Aaaahhh!" Yun Zaitian's agonizing screams were incessant!
Chu Fan withdrew his arm, his expression unchanged.
A layer of Protective Primordial Qi kept the bright red blood from touching his index finger, causing it to gather into beads. One by one, they fell upon the rocks below, each drop making a heart-stopping sound.
