As the Knights and Mages shouted, a clear light suddenly flared up from the tall towers spaced about a kilometer apart along the wall.
This light washed over the walls, covering them in what looked like a thin, watery film.
It was clearly a Barrier that enhanced the walls' defensive capabilities.
