Ruby Preston didn't move, but she meant the same thing. "It would be better if we work on it together."
Naomi Kenway nodded without much of a reaction. She knew she wasn't considered very trustworthy and had no intention of trying to change anyone's mind.
"I'll go look for materials first, then."
"No." Margaret Jennings grabbed Naomi Kenway's arm, her brow furrowed with worry. "I really can't let you go off on your own. Nina, please listen to me and stick with us. It's truly dangerous at night."
Carina Sanders also took Naomi Kenway's hand. "Aunt Kenway, please come with us!"
A warmth spread through Naomi Kenway's heart, and she smiled. "Don't worry. I have a cameraman following me, and the production team will warn me if there's any danger."
Margaret Jennings slowly released her hand. What Naomi Kenway said made sense; the entire area was being watched by the production team, so there wouldn't be any accidents.
"Then be careful, and you can always come back and find us."
