Stores were lined with various goods, and people chatted and laughed as they strolled by.
A pair of youthful young women were window-shopping, holding up their phones to take photos of each other. "Xiaoya, I've already been shopping with you for two hours. My boyfriend is urging me to go over and keep him company. I have to leave," one of the girls said.
"Hmph, you prioritize romance over friendship. You're leaving after only keeping me company for two hours. You two have been dating for two years already; a little time apart won't kill you."
The girl pouted, looking dissatisfied. "Don't think I don't know what you guys are going to do."
Her friend's face flushed red. "Two hours isn't enough? My boyfriend has already sent a dozen urgent messages. I told you to find a boyfriend too, but your standards are just too high."
