As dust and Demon Qi scattered, the Double-Faced Hero Demon Fiend staggered to its feet. It unleashed another burst of power, its two faces, front and back, deathly pale.
It crossed three mountain peaks in a single bound, blurring into an afterimage as it rushed into a sprawling mountain estate.

Tearing through the wind with a ferocious aura, Gu Zheng descended from the sky and slammed into an open courtyard on the estate. The impact dug a shallow crater, sending shattered stones flying in all directions.

The sound of hurried, disorderly footsteps echoed as a group of guards with drawn blades rushed out from the corners. They advanced slowly on Gu Zheng.

In a flash, Gu Zheng shot forward. He crashed straight through the building's wall with his own body, landing inside a bright and magnificent hall.
