But instead of revealing what it was, Insect Paradox turned to look at Yang An.
"Please, speak freely, Insect Paradox," Hai Shu said, immediately understanding his hesitation. "He is a follower of our temple's Great Bodhisattva, not an outsider."
He had only stopped himself from sending Yang An into the Eternal Prison because he didn't want Insect Paradox to see it; this didn't mean he had abandoned the idea entirely.
For one thing, Yang An had escorted the Forbidden Calamity's Reincarnation Dharma Body back to them. This, in a sense, made him someone the Forbidden Calamity itself had vouched for.
For another, neither he nor Hai Si could detect anything amiss about Yang An. But even if he harbored ill intentions, it would be nearly impossible for him to send any information in the presence of the two of them and an Immortal Platform Realm expert like Insect Paradox.
Later, they would just toss him into the Eternal Prison, and his life would be over. So what if he knew something?
