The number of beasts in the Beast Race clearly outnumbered those of the Bird Race. However, the number of beasts capable of flight was only just enough to be on par with the Bird Race.
In an instant, the entire sky transformed into a battlefield.
From time to time, birds and beasts screamed as they plummeted from the sky. Some members of the Bird Race abandoned the aerial battlefield entirely, launching surprise attacks on the flightless beasts below. Their targets were obvious: the Water Element Beasts that possessed long-range attack capabilities.
The Firecrowned Strange Crow was also a member of this strike force. "Follow me closely! The time to make contributions has come."
The phrase "make contributions" seemed to be the Firecrowned Strange Crow's catchphrase, constantly brought up to Nine Discount.
