Disbelief turned into anger as he blamed me for everything that happened.
He yelled at me, telling me that it's my fault that he is back here as he thought that he was finally free from them.
He continued to blame me for several things that happened, to the point that he was starting to regret to having met me as he wouldn't have known what warmth feels like.
I just sat there, listening to him while preventing myself from sobbing. I wanted him to feel safe with me.
Trauma is difficult. Opening up to someone is on another level.
I don't want to force him. He needs to heal at his own pace which may take time.
His words hurt me, yes but I understand that he's speaking like that as a result of his trauma, not his feelings towards me.
If I cry in front of him, I might force him unintentionally to close up, which is not good as he needs to let it all out in order to start healing.
While I was listening to him, inside my mind I kept praying for Sly and Ghost's safety as this may take some time.
I'm torn as Orm needs me right now, at the same time Sly and Ghost are in danger of being violated as female serpents cannot control themselves when they are in heat.
I prayed all kinds of prayers for the three of them, hoping for a good outcome in our mission today.
Still, I sat there as Orm began telling me everything what happened to him, starting when he was younger until recently.
Cursing his entire family inside my mind, I decided to include Orm's father in my revenge as he is also at fault for neglecting his supposed to be beloved offspring.
But something seems weird here.
Orm is the only one who didn't get punished.
Sure he has a critical injury but the Chieftain Monarch doesn't feel merciful if he gets angry.
Maybe because the Chieftain Monarch knows that Orm suffered more here than being punished at the palace?
So there's a possibility that his father may knew what actually Orm experienced here.
I can feel goosebumps on my skin as I'm starting to realize that there's more to Orm's background as something doesn't seem to fit here.
What kind of lunatic doesn't protect his supposed to be beloved offspring from his supposed to be beloved and favorite mate unless.....
The story itself is for show.
I decided to investigate the story behind Orm's parents in the future along with my plans about investigating what I realized during the time when Rahab was about to violate me.
For now, Orm is my priority.

As much as I wanted to hug Orm, I didn't do it as I might startle him, making him more defensive. I want him to go near me out of his own choice.
I want him to trust me.
So I waited for him to calm down in which he did eventually, after telling me all kinds of hurtful words that I'm tempted to leave him.
I'm glad I stayed.
I understand he was trying to push me away.
When he saw that I didn't move, he started to cry and began to apologize to me, blaming himself for all sorts of things in which I just reassured him that his feelings are understandable and valid.
I told him that I'm here to stay and that he is safe with me and the pack. Smiling at him, I told him that I'm bringing him home in which he hurriedly went towards me and embraced me, crying as his embrace began to tighten.
As he cried, I told him that I'm here whenever he needs me and apologized to him for not spending much time with him previously.
His cries started subside as he began to mention all sorts of activities he wanted us to do as soon as we get back.
He carried me in his arms, nuzzling my neck, in which he whispered into my ear telling me that he missed me a lot and seeing me disappear broke his heart.
Tears started to fall down on his cheeks that I held his face with my hand and impulsively kissed his cheek.
Oops.
I was just planning to wipe away his tears.
Oh dear.
He suddenly lit up and looked at me, disbelief in his eyes that turned into intense happiness.
Ah.
I managed to cheer him up but at what cost?
Oh well.
He whispered into my ear, telling me that I better not regret what I said and did in which I just smiled at him and told him that I want to go home with him, Sly and Ghost in which to my horror, I realized that I forgot about the two.
Orm understood what I was thinking as he hurriedly went out while carrying me, telling me that he hoped that Sly and Ghost managed to defend themselves as the female serpents are extremely aggressive when they are in heat.
Curses.
I hope they are okay.

Oh my word!
The female serpents formed a ball around Sly and Ghost, writhing against their bodies in which I can notice both of them sweating and panting.
Based on what I learned about from the animal magazines, it is usually the male serpents who formed a ball around single female serpent.
But this....
We need to rescue them.
Orm held me in one of his arms as his other hand released a powerful ice spell that hit all the surrounding serpents around the area.
Shrieking, all of the serpents in the area flew, surrounding all of us as some kind of a tornado.
I felt scared seeing them in which I wrapped my arms around Orm's chest as he looked at them calmly.
Sly and Ghost hurriedly stood beside us as they are thinking of transforming in which I shook my head at them.
This is Orm's time to shine.
They began taunting Orm with all kinds of stuff, the way they did to them including what they did to his mother.
I was afraid that Orm might be affected due to his trauma in which to my surprise, he seemed to look unbothered.
Then they all began to attack us in which Orm kept releasing all sorts of powerful ice spells, the cold being one of the serpent's weakness.
His hold on me begin to tighten as he told Sly and Orm that they can now transform to their ultimate form in which they grinned evilly.
Sly transformed instead to his dragon self in which he breathe fire towards some of the serpents while Ghost, in his ultimate form, released some sort of earth magic much to our surprise.
Orm nuzzled my cheek in which he assured me that he will keep me safe and that he wants to go home fast.
Then he looked at the remaining serpents, who are still trying to attack us and told them that if they ever try to attack us again, especially me, he would destroy this entire tribe using his power.
To show them that he's serious, he destroyed the mansion where he used to live using his magic.
Orm.
I'm proud of him.
I embraced him tightly in which he looked at me with tenderness in his eyes, asking me if I'm ready to go home.
Of course!
Then Ghost sat first on Sly's back in which I sat behind him with Orm wrapping his tail around Sly as he embraced me from behind.
Afterwards, Sly rose towards the sky with a powerful roar.
We are going home, finally.
....
I became busy as soon as we arrived at the castle in which of course, I took a bath first since I cannot tolerate the smell much longer.
Afterwards, I cooked a huge meal for them in which Ghost assisted me since he wants to learn new recipes.
To make the celebration of Orm's return special, I suggested to them that we eat at the garden in which all of us brought the food there.
We had fun eating and talking when Orm requested that I sing for him.
Since I'm in a good mood, I sang to them all sorts of happy songs, thankful for the voice lessons that I did back on earth. My singing voice has quite improved lately and with much enthusiasm, I sang to them in which they listened with enjoyment on their faces.
After several songs, I began to feel tired in which I'm starting to yawn. They began to clean up while I rested my back on Pinky's trunk, closing my eyes and started to doze off.
I can feel my head resting on Sly's chest as Orm is sleeping beside me with his arm embracing me. Ghost's head is resting on my abdomen as I felt him sleeping.
I'm not a pillow!
But I let it slide this time as I'm happy knowing that we would soon be complete again.
