Hearing that, Celeste froze for a brief moment before quickly adjusting her posture, fixing her hair and trying to look as presentable as possible.
She clearly remembered Emilia from before.
More importantly… she knew that Emilia was important to Leon.
And if they were going to travel together from now on, then she wanted to make a good impression.
Leon noticed her reaction and couldn't help but smirk slightly.
"Don't stress too much," he said, "Emilia won't judge… I think."
The small pause at the end didn't help much, but Celeste still nodded, trying to calm herself down.
And so… they waited.
The square remained lively, filled with players moving around, talking, or preparing to explore the kingdom.
But for Leon and Celeste, time seemed to slow down slightly as they stood there, waiting for Emilia to arrive.
Then, after around ten minutes—
"Leon!" A familiar voice called out from one of the streets leading into the square.
