Based on what Leon remembered from his past life, the strength of the guards blocking the cathedral was no mystery to him.
The regular [Moon Sect Guards] were usually around twenty-five thousand Combat Power.
The general standing with them was even worse, thirty-five thousand at the very least, possibly pushing forty thousand depending on the phase of the moon and how close the event was.
In a straight fight, Leon could deal with the guards.
He was confident of that. With his current skills, equipment, and combat sense, even clashing directly with the general wasn't out of the question.
The problem wasn't strength. It was numbers.
There were too many of them, all positioned to support each other, all trained to suppress threats quickly and without mercy.
They weren't there for intimidation alone. They were there to make sure absolutely no one caused trouble near the cathedral.
And they had the power to enforce that rule.
