"Are you insane!? Are you actually psychotic?"

Thoos stood calmly, the mess you black sword resting on his shoulder. He Looked down at markil.

"Don't worry," Thoos said, his voice Deep and vibrating with power. "You will understand everything. Eventually."

She lowered the sword, pointing the tip on Markil's throat.

"For now... Let me kill you."

Markil's Eyes widened."What!?"

"This blade," Thoos said.

"It has a name. Do you want to know it?"

Markil made a face of pure disbelief.

"Are you asshole!? Why do I have to know the name of that in your hand that's about to kill me!?"

Thoos ignored him completely.

"Asler," Thoos whispered reverently. "The God slaying blade."

"I DIDN'T TELL YOU TO TELL ME THAT!"

Markil shouted, tears springing to his eyes.

He look down at his missing arms.

"Is this it? Is this really my end?" Markil thought.

"Dying twice and both times... Helpless." Markil thought.

"Mom..." Markil whispered.

The tears spilled over, mixing with the dust on his face.

Thoos watched him,his red eyes narrowing.

"I am guessing ," Thoos said coldly, "that you are now thinking of the person you love the most."

Markil grit his teeth, snot running down his nose.

"Yeah! Yeah, you are fucking asshole! I am!" Markil sobbed.

"But she isn't here! She is alone! She must be suffering without me!"

"Suffering is the forge of Kings," Thoos replied, unmoved.

"SHUT UP! WITH YOUR PHILOSOPHY!"

Thoos sighed. He adjusted his grip on Asler.

"Now then. At least, I'll tell you one thing."

Thoos's aura flared, turning the air heavy.

"If you kill me... You will get everything that I have. My power. My sword. My army."

"What!? What the hell you have an army too."

"Why haven't you showed them from before?!"

Markil blinked through his tears. "And what... What do you mean by you will get everything?!"

Thoos didn't answer. He Looked up at the sky One Last Time, then looked back at Markil.

"Die."

Thoos threw the sword.

BOOOM!

He didn't swing it. The sound barrier shattered instantly. The Blade became a blur of black death, aiming straight for Markil's neck.

Time slowed down.

Markil saw the blade coming. He saw the intricate carvings on the matel. He saw his death.

He closed his eyes.

"Mom... Are you okay?"

"I am missing you so much. I just want to be with you."

A bitter, broken laugh echoed in his mind.

"I know what you must be thinking.Mom. you are probably wondering why didn't I pick up those two books I forgot on my table." Markil thought.

"You always scolded me for being Messy."

"I'm sorry."

Suddenly a memory flashed. Not of love, but of reality.

He saw his mother sitting at the kitchen table, head on her hands. A letter from the bank.

"We can't pay it, Markil," She had whispered.

"The loan... The interest... They are going to take the house."

Markil's heart stopped.

"If I die here... She loses the house."

"If I die here... She ends up on the Street."

"She ends up alone."

A voice exploded in his mind. Not thoos. Not his own. Something deeper. Ancient.

"YOU WILL NOT BE DEFEATED."

Markil's eyes snapped open beneath has eyelids.

"What?!"

He tried to speak. "Oh, Sorry... but I can't."

"NO."

Flashbacks assaulted him.

Is father walking out the door. The bullies beating him. The girl he loved holding back his attacker. His mother crying silently at night so he wouldn't hear.

"Why Me?"

"I'm also a human! Why me!?"

"Why am I only one who has to suffer?!"

Markil's soul screamed.

"My mother... She hasn't paid the money. They will throw her out like garbage."

"MOTHER!!" Markil roared.

SNAP.

The world stopped.

The sword,Asler, froze an inch from his neck.

The dust suspended in the air.

BOOOOOM!!

A shockwave of pure, unadultrated power detonated from Markil's body. The ground beneath him didn't just crack; it disintegrated.

Thoos, standing twenty metres away, felt a chill run down his spine. He narrowed his eyes against the blinding lights.

"So," Thoos whispered,a small smile playing on his lips. "This is the end."

He turned his back, starting to walk away. "Well done.Boy, you died with dign..."

WHOOSH

The dust cleared instantly.

Thoos stopped walking.

The air pressure dropped. Gravity seemed to double.

A voice, cold and echoing like thunder, spoken from behind.

"Where are you going?"

Thoos turned around slowly. His eyes widened.

"Impossible..."

Markil was standing.

His arms were back. But they weren't flesh anymore. Veins of glowing purple energy Pulsed under his skin. Black lightening cracked around his body.

And in his hand.

Thoos's jaw tightened.

Markil was holding Asler.

With two fingers.

Just two fingers, pinching The Blade that weighed as much as a mountain.

"Oh...Fuck," Thoos thought. "He is holding Asler... With just two fingers?"

Markil looked at the sword, then at Thoos. His eyes were no longer brown. They were glowing of purple light.

"You said..." Markil whispered, his voice vibrating the ground. "That if I kill you... I get everything."

Thoos stepped back. "Wait..."

ZAP

Markil vanished.

Thoos blinked. "Where?"

"Here."

Markil was directly in front of his face.

Thoos didn't even have the time to fear.

"So this is Master's real power..." Thoos thought.

BANG!!!

Markil didn't use the sword. He just flicked his wrist.

Thoos was launched backward.

He crashed through first mountain.

BOOM!!

He crashed through the second mountain.

CRASH!!

He crashed through the third mountain.

SMASH!!

Thoos finally slammed into a cliff face, embedded deep in the rock. His armor, the legendary dragon scale plate, turned into liquid fire and disintegredited.

COUGH!

Thoos vomited blood.

"What... The fuck... Is going on?" Thoos wheezed.

He tried to move, but his body didn't respond.

Markil Walked towards him. But he was walking. He was glitching through the reality. One second he was a mile away. The next, half a mile.

Black thunder spiraled around Markil, tearing up the sky.

Thoos scrambled out of The Rock, panic finally setting in.

"He isn't even talking. Is master getting serious?" Thoos thought.

Thoos raised his hands, summoning a barrier of red magic. "Fine then let's finish this..."

FLASH

Markil move at the speed of the sound. He broke the sound barrier so hard the air caught fire.

"Too slow," Markil whispered.

He appeared behind Thoos.

Thoos spun around. "I can't... I can't even see him!" Thoos thought.

Markil raised his fist. Purple Aura wrapped around it like a gauntlet of Doom.

"You called me master," Markil said.

BOOM!

He punched Thoos in stomach.

The impact didn't just break ribs. It created a vacuum.

Thoos's eyes almost popped out of his skull. The force travelled through his body and blew the mountain behind him. A One Kilometre cone of destruction vaporized the landscape.

Thoos flew back, tumbling across the shattered Earth. He was just in his Black under suit, tattered and bloody.

He tried to stand up. His legs wobbed.

"Haha..haha..." Thoos laughed, blood pouring from his mouth. "You monster..."

Markil stood amidst the black lightning. He looked like a god of destruction.

"Finish it," Markil said.

Thoos wiped his mouth. He stood up straight despite the plain. He looked at the boy who had been crying minutes ago.

"You have grown..." Thoos said softly. "In just few minutes."

Thoos charged.

It was a suicide run. He knew it.

"COME ON!" Thoos roared, concentrating every last drop of his Mana into final strike.

Markil didn't dodge.

He stepped forward.

He drew his fist back.

"This is for my arms," Markil said.

CRACK

Markil's fist met Thoos's chest.

It wasn't a fight. It was execution.

Markil's hand punched through the chest, exiting out of the back.

The world went silent.

The Black thunder faded.

The purple or a settled.

Thoos stood there, Markil's arm through his heart.

Thoos didn't scream.

He looked down at the arm in his chest. Then he looked up at Markil's face.

Slowly, Thoos smiled.

It was a peaceful smile. A Smile of relief.

"So..." Thoos whispered, blood bubbling on his lips. "Master... I am really..."

He reached out the trembling hand and patted Markil's shoulder.

"... I was able to see you. Your presence."

Markil's eyes returned to normal from rage, replaced by shock.

"Thoos...?"

Thoos's legs gave out. Markil caught him, gently pulling his arm free.Thoos collapsed into Markil's arms.

"So not cry," Thoos wheezed. "You...Won."

"You...You let me win," Markil stammered.

"I don't actually know who you are. I know you name, But I don't know actually who you really are."

"No," Thoos sook his head weakly. "I pushed you and you surpassed me."

Thoos's body began to glow, turning into particles of golden light.

"And at last I just want to say do you know what power you had. If you kill anyone you get their powers and above everything they have. That's why I told you from the start if you kill me you will get everything that I have."

"Take Asler." Thoos whispered, his vision fading.

You looked at the sky One Last Time.

"Finally... I can rest."

"Wait!" Markil shouted. "You didn't told me how can I go back. And why am I in this world. I thought that you know everything."

Thoos chuckled. A final, dying sound.

"You're not alone...Master."

Thoos closed his eyes.

His body shattered into a billion points of light, swirling around Markil before absorbing into his skin.

Markil sat alone in the silent crater.

The wind howled.

He looked at his hands. The were trembling.

"You asshole!" Markil whispered, giving a funny expression.
