12:02 PM
The group chat of BEEd 1-A was undergoing another structural reorganization.
After Aprille Bolente dropped an inquiry in the main group chat about the communication lines for their newly assigned Understanding the Self (UTS) instructor, the Commander immediately initiated the protocol. Hidy Medona generated and forwarded a brand-new group chat link, instructing the entire cohort to join and officially greet Mrs. Giany Talashiro.
The newly created digital lobby instantly flooded with a synchronized, copy-pasted barrage of identical messages: "Good afternoon po, Ma'am Giany!"
With the new communication channel established, the main KSU TAYTAY BEED 1-A group chat devolved into a random, chaotic fiesta of overlapping concerns.
Princess Cleria tagged Hidy, desperately trying to confirm if they really had a free Saturday, considering Mr. Shono was confirmed absent and their PE class had been relocated. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Lore Master, Reo Bairo, intercepted a rumor. She informed Hidy about an upcoming event at the Morong campus on Friday, speculating that Dr. Manazaki might cancel their face-to-face class since full-time professors were mandated to attend.
Reo also forwarded a screenshot of her private conversation with Mr. Shono, checking for updates on their massive November Culminating Activity. Hidy quickly clarified that the officers were still in a holding pattern, waiting for the campus organizations to respond and finalize the committee logistics. Amidst the barrage of messages, Hidy managed to drop the final, locked-in schedule for their newly relocated PE 1 class with Mr. Casto: every Thursday, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
12:41 PM
The exclusive Peepeeps group chat had been in a quiet, dormant state until the Apex Strategist finally made a move.
Jiro Sanata was preparing to initiate his review phase for the impending preliminary examinations tomorrow. There was only one problem: he possessed absolutely zero study materials.
Jiro Sanata: "Pls send the notes/reviewer in History again, thanks."
The Tall Muse, Mira Palida, responded almost immediately. She deployed a handful of pictures featuring handwritten notes sourced directly from Ivyn Giron.
Jiro opened the images, his strategic mind rapidly analyzing the content. He frowned. It wasn't enough data.
Jiro Sanata: "Beh, is that all? Where are the others ðŸ˜ðŸ˜"
Silence. Mira didn't even drop a reaction. She left him hanging in the digital void.
Instead of providing more academic intel, Niewi Voeliè aggressively shifted the agenda. She dragged the conversation back to the traumatic late-night drama involving Cosma Ibana. Niewi forwarded a series of screenshots from her high school friends, validating their suspicions—Cosma apparently had a known history of backstabbing back in their previous school.
The circle's chat instantly flared back to life. Ivyn and Mira jumped right back into the controversy. Mira admitted she was genuinely shocked that she was the alleged catalyst for Cosma's entire breakdown, pointing out how childish it was for Cosma to assume she was the only "tomboy" in the world. They were a mix of disappointed, mad, and highly amused by the absurdity of the situation.
But Jiro? He was completely detached from the drama.
He sat on his mattress, staring at his screen in pure annoyance. He actively tried to force the conversation back to the academic syllabus. He mentally labeled the entire Cosma situation as Feminine Issues, completely irrelevant to his current objective as the sole male member of the circle.
Finally, Mira waved the white flag on the drama.
Mira Palida: "Sorry, but I don't care anymore eh."
With the gossip phase officially terminated, Ivyn returned to the primary mission. She forwarded another batch of History notes. But as Jiro inspected the new files, his internal radar pinged with immediate disappointment. The notes originally belonged to Ivyn's crush, the Business Manager, Cristel Basha—the young-looking girl with the cute headband.
Jiro scrutinized the handwriting.
Jiro Sanata: "I was disappointed a lot with these Cristel's notes eh. There are many things missing, plus… uh… mixed, why are there UTS notes in the middle of History notes ðŸ˜ðŸ˜"
Realizing he was aggressively critiquing the quality of free intel, Jiro immediately deployed a self-awareness patch to soften the blow.
Jiro Sanata: "What the hell are you, Jiro? You asked for notes plus you are so demanding ah. /s"
Niewi replied quickly, genuinely asking if he actually had no notes of his own.
Jiro didn't reply.
He just stared at his phone, his strict Energy Conservation principle fully active. Taking manual notes meant wasting ink, paper, physical energy, and tiring out his hands. It was an inefficient use of resources. He preferred to rely on digital accumulation.
Eventually, Cicille dropped raw, unedited pictures of Mr. Brackin's actual presentation slides, taken straight from the T.V. screen. It was exactly what Jiro needed. But before he could fully immerse himself in the review, the timeline shifted again.
At 3:24 PM, Jiro asked in the main section group chat if Mr. Brackin was going to send his presentation slides. Hidy took the initiative and messaged their elusive adviser privately.
By 4:33 PM, Hidy forwarded his exact response.
Mr. Jimmy Brackin (Forwarded): "Good afternoon. Please note that I'm not providing ppts. Btw, our prelim exam will be resched next week, Monday. I will not be at the campus tomorrow. Please inform the whole class. Thanks."
The entire BEEd 1-A cohort let out a massive, synchronized sigh of relief.
Review phase canceled. Threat averted.
There were no classes tomorrow. A few anxious students pointed out the possibility of their two "TBA" ghost professors suddenly showing up out of nowhere, but Hidy swiftly shut down the panic. She reminded them of the COE Dean's previous decree: there was absolutely no need to travel to the campus for subjects saddled with TBA instructors.
Back in the Peepeeps group chat, Jiro relayed the victory.
Jiro Sanata: "We don't have class and exam tomorrow ah."
Both Ivyn and Niewi lagged behind the intel, completely unaware until they finally checked the main chat.
With the academic pressure lifted, Jiro casually flexed a bizarre real-life discovery. He had been bored, so he executed a random inventory check of his wallet and his heavy "Hulk" bag, digging through the scattered, forgotten pockets.
Jiro Sanata: "Well, I just checked my bags and wallet, and I didn't know I earned P1,900 eh."
Mira, Niewi, and Ivyn immediately flooded the chat, praising his effortless accumulation of wealth after doing absolutely nothing for a month. Sensing the financial advantage, Niewi immediately launched a tactical strike, teasing Jiro to invite them out for a celebration since his 18th birthday was coming up this Friday.
Jiro deployed his signature deadpan defense. He declined immediately. Budget conservation takes priority.
But the girls were relentless. They insisted they would celebrate him anyway, considering he was currently the youngest anomaly in the entire BEEd 1-A cohort.
9:53 PM
Despite the official cancellation of all Wednesday classes, Niewi, thriving on chaotic energy, actively teased her friends to travel to the campus tomorrow anyway just to hang out.
Ivyn panicked. She had already informed her strict older sister that she had no classes. If she suddenly left the house, her sister's interrogation protocols would trigger instantly. To bypass the domestic security, Ivyn suggested Niewi just come to her house instead, using the classic "school project" alibi so her sister would allow them to go out.
Niewi agreed and extended the invite to Mira, Mona, Cicille, and Jiro.
But Jiro and Mona, operating on strict, logical efficiency, completely rejected the unnecessary detour. Traveling and spending fare money for a campus with no active classes was a massive, unjustifiable waste of resources.
September 25 (Wednesday)
11:26 AM
The rogue faction's plan was falling apart.
Despite having no classes, Niewi kept pushing her friends to either rendezvous at the campus or hit the local mall to hang out. Mira was officially locked down until her parents permitted her to leave at 1:00 PM. Meanwhile, Ivyn was frantically tearing through her wardrobe, trying to find a suitable outfit.
The physical preparation drained Ivyn's energy before she even left the house. She eventually surrendered to her own lethargy and completely bailed on the mission.
By 1:20 PM, Mira decided to grab a fast-food lunch near the New Public Market of Taytay before heading out. Niewi, operating on pure speed, had already arrived at the local mall and was impatiently waiting for Mira to show up.
While the two were trying to salvage their off-day bonding, a new wave of drama violently crashed into the KSU TAYTAY BEED 1-A group chat.
Aprille Bolente deployed a screenshot sourced from an anonymous campus confession page. It was a blatant, targeted rage-bait post.
"Educ students are really rude. They thought that there were no classes in other classrooms. They're also naughty and noisy, I'm sorry but most of them are acting squammies 🤢. TAYTAY CAMPUS."
The BEEd 1-A cohort stared at the post. Then, they collectively burst into laughter.
The sheer inaccuracy of the attack was hilarious. The profile of the poster was completely locked down.
Deanne Parina: "They locked their profile lol. Such a coward."
The Lore Master, Reo, stepped into the fray, pointing out the glaring chronological flaw in the hater's logic. She praised the cohort for basically being invisible this week, noting that none of them had even set foot on the campus since last Saturday. Reo suspected the anonymous sniper was likely a CON (Nursing) student, highlighting the unspoken territorial rivalry between the Blue and White factions since they shared the same building.
The Class Escort, Jesper Arufe, naturally fired a comedic shot across the bow.
Jesper Arufe: "The nursing students are so high blood ah. They should check their own BP."
Anila Bakuda, the class disciplinarian, added her own voice note to the counter-attack, citing a recurring logistical annoyance.
Anila Bakuda: "Those nursing students, you know, they always block the staircases. Did I complain?"
But before the tribal warfare could escalate, the Commander intervened, projecting a massive, calming reassurance over the entire section.
Hidy Medona: "Hello guys, as much as frustrating it is to read this, be careful and much better not to be offended. That's just rage bait, you guys are so much better than this, don't let it affect you, you said it, dedma sa bashers HAHAHAHA."
Hidy advised them to simply ignore the haters. She added that they would discuss the anonymous threat properly tomorrow in person since they were finally scheduled to return for PE.
Watching the chaotic defense of his faction, Jiro's Apex Strategist mindset triggered. In a rare instance of breaking his usual observer silence, he deployed a heavy, philosophical reality check into the chat.
Jiro Sanata: "Always remember that: Every word still doesn't fully justify and define us."
Meanwhile, the Vice President, Princess Cleria, was aggressively pushing Aprille to drop the leaked intel regarding the Morong campus event. They were heavily banking on the rumor that all full-time professors would be summoned there on Friday, forcing Dr. Manazaki to shift their impending class to an online format.
Aprille forwarded the official memorandum to the chat. Hope flared.
4:22 PM
The hope was brutally executed.
Reo Bairo had bypassed the rumors and directly messaged Dr. Manazaki to verify the format of their Friday class.
She forwarded a screenshot of his exact response.
Dr. Manazaki wasn't shifting to an online layout. He confirmed he would be conducting their class face-to-face. It seemed the Morong event was either postponed or irrelevant to his specific schedule.
Jesper Arufe couldn't resist dropping a sarcastic, defeated quip.
Jesper Arufe: "Ok. I will now send the gmeet to start our oc ah."
Meanwhile, back at the public mall, Niewi's patience had completely evaporated. She had been waiting for over two hours. When it became painfully clear that Mira and Cicille were not going to show up, she abandoned the quest and simply went home.
6:39 PM
The digital channel in the Peepeeps group chat pinged.
Mira sent a screenshot of her TikTok profile's 'New Followers' list. It was Cosma. She had actually followed Mira back, a bizarre, silent flex right in the middle of their severed friendship.
But just two minutes later, Niewi dropped a massive piece of gossip, completely shifting the perspective on their former circle member.
Niewi Voeliè: "Ay, my friend's friend who knows Cosma said, we should've let her and ignored her after sending those messages last night."
Ivyn Giron's curiosity spiked into the red zone. She demanded the rest of the details. Niewi didn't hold back.
Niewi Voeliè: "She was just gaslighting us. Cuz she analyzes our messages eh."
Mira Palida: "Eeeehhhh?? Whats her reasonnn why she would do that?"
Niewi Voeliè: "It doesn't make sense ðŸ˜. It feels like she was just making drama to escape our cof instead of directly addressing the issue."
The realization hit the circle hard. Cosma had been playing a highly calculated, manipulative game to orchestrate her own exit. Niewi diagnosed it perfectly: Cosma was just suffering from a severe case of Main Character Syndrome.
Ivyn, Niewi, and Mira spent the next block of time aggressively roasting Cosma's red flags, completely dismantling her fabricated narrative.
Jiro kept observing the rapid-fire dissection of the drama. Finally, he decided to cut through the noise and deliver a definitive, strategic conclusion.
Jiro Sanata: "Think about it like this: Cosma is already a broken mirror. So, what do you actually expect for a broken mirror to reflect? Well… y'all decide what to interpret for my metaphor HAHAHAA."
Niewi tried to decode the logic, wondering if the metaphor pointed to Cosma's broken attitude or her broken perspective. She shared a traumatic backstory from Grade 12, recalling how she was cyberbullied and Cosma—who was the class president at the time—completely ignored her pleas for help, interrupting her trauma dump to point out a handsome teacher walking by.
Despite the girls continuing to unpack Cosma's historical flaws, Jiro realized they hadn't fully grasped the tactical finality of his statement. He interrupted the flow to drop the absolute interpretation.
Jiro Sanata: "The interpretation for this is: The person is already in turmoil, you cannot trust them back in the near future. So, you can leave her alone. In easy words, you cannot fix a broken mirror by yourself, but you can throw them into the trash."
The three girls were completely stunned by the sheer, cold precision of Jiro's logic. It was the absolute, undeniable truth.
The late-night debriefing continued, with Ivyn and Niewi swapping more stories about Cosma's past failures as a leader and her tendency to fabricate narratives, until they finally logged off and went to sleep at 10:18 PM.
September 26 (Thursday)
11:02 AM
The erratic routing of the academic system had finally brought them back to the campus for their relocated PE 1 class.
Room 405 was unlocked but slightly messy. The Island Trio—Princess, Windy, and Aprille—were already inside, claiming their armchairs, chilling, and scrolling on their phones while waiting for the rest of the cohort. But there was a glaring visual anomaly. Windy was the only student wearing the complete, formal KSU COE blue uniform, while everyone else was in their casual PE attire.
The rest of the early-bird BEEd 1-A students were scattered across the campus safe zones, taking shelter in the BSN Hangout house, the cafeteria, or the concrete benches near the open-air gymnasium. Mira and Niewi eventually entered Room 405, killing time until their 12:30 PM shift began.
12:20 PM
The vast majority of the BEEd 1-A cohort had migrated down to the gymnasium. They arranged their monobloc chairs in neat rows, patiently waiting for Mr. Casto to finish his ongoing PE 1 session with the BSN 1-A and BSN 1-B students.
The two Nursing cohorts were currently executing a simple, three-minute Zumba routine, following the upbeat rhythm blasting from a massive Bluetooth speaker.
The BEEd 1-A students watched them carefully.
Jiro was currently positioned on the far edge of the court, completely abandoning his chair. He was sitting directly on the floor, executing his signature "Gargoyle" pose with his knees pulled up. His heavy "Hulk" bag was placed securely on the seat of his monobloc chair, strictly avoiding any contact with the dusty concrete.
He analyzed the Nursing students' movements with his tactical gaze.
Ohh… Maybe we will do this too, Jiro concluded in his internal monologue.
Mr. Casto finally noticed his waiting afternoon shift. He walked over.
"Good afternoon… Uh… BEEd 1? Right? So, we can start our activity by 2 PM. So kindly wait the two BSN sections to finish before we start practicing the Zumba dance. Understood?"
The cohort agreed in unison, accepting the extended wait time.
1:15 PM
The Nursing students successfully concluded their routines, celebrating loudly as Mr. Casto announced their grades. He quickly dismissed them, clearing the arena for his Education students.
Mr. Casto turned his full attention to BEEd 1-A. He introduced the basic foundational steps for their upcoming Zumba activity. It was simple, repetitive, and built on an eight-count rhythm.
There was a slight shift in their usual formation. Since their original circle was officially fractured, Mira had actively recruited the second mother of BEEd 1-A, Sayra Bresa, to complete their group for the upcoming performance.
The cohort was given thirty minutes to practice. The entire gymnasium floor was quickly divided into distinct territorial zones, each group claiming a spot to perfect their routine.
One… two… three… four… five…
The counting echoed across the court as they drilled the arm and feet movements, trying desperately to synchronize with the beat.
In Jiro's group, Mira naturally took the lead position. She carefully counted the beats, aggressively watching their formations to ensure maximum synchronization. Jiro's Energy Conservation depleted quickly under the physical exertion, but his high-level processing speed allowed him to memorize the basic steps almost instantly.
While they were taking a brief pause between counts, Mona and Cicille turned their attention to their new recruit.
"Uy, Ate Sayra, how old is your toddler na po?" Mona asked curiously, wiping a bead of sweat from her forehead.
"Ah, he is already three years old eh," Sayra replied with a warm, maternal smile.
Cicille's eyes widened in genuine admiration. "Wow, really? You are so strong po ah, balancing college and a toddler at the same time."
Both Mona and Cicille continuously praised her dedication, completely impressed by her life balancing act. Sayra just chuckled humbly, right before Mira clapped her hands to initiate another round of drilling.
2:10 PM
The practice phase expired. It was time for the actual performance.
Each group took the floor, executing their routines while Mr. Casto watched them like a hawk, holding a stack of yellow papers to record their marks.
When it was Jiro's group's turn, they stepped onto the court. The visual composition of the group was completely uneven. While Jiro, Mira, Niewi, Mona, Cicille, and Sayra were dressed appropriately in old pajamas, official KSU PE pants, and white shirts, Ivyn was the absolute glaring anomaly, performing the Zumba routine while wearing her full, formal KSU COE blue uniform.
Despite the fashion mismatch, they executed the routine almost perfectly.
Mr. Casto tallied the scores and handed the yellow paper back to Mira.
They had scored a massive 98.6. It was among the highest marks in the entire section.
Mira scanned the individual breakdowns. Jiro, Niewi, Mira, Ivyn, and Sayra had secured a flawless 100. Cicille and Mona, however, both received a 95.
Mona immediately apologized to the group, genuinely explaining that she had missed a few steps during the execution. But Mira waved it off easily, assuring her that a 95 was still an incredibly high score to add to their records.
By 2:51 PM, the relocated PE 1 class was officially dismissed. The cohort quickly grabbed their bags and initiated the mass exodus home.
But the erratic routing of the KSU Taytay scheduling algorithm had one final surprise waiting for them.
At 3:30 PM, Hidy forwarded a brand-new, updated schedule direct from the COE Dean into the BEED 1 UPDATES channel.
The grid had been altered again.
Their Ethics subject was violently yanked from its Monday/Wednesday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM slot.
It was relocated to Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
And the TBA ghost status was finally resolved. They had a new, officially named professor: a male instructor named Mr. Lanny Sariba.
The cohort stared at their screens in absolute dread. The promise was broken. Even though Mr. Shono was confirmed absent this weekend, they still couldn't escape. They were mandated to travel to the campus on Saturday afternoon for their very first encounter with their new Ethics professor.
The Saturday Curse had been resurrected.
The Hectic Week was rapidly accelerating toward its climax. For Group Falcon, the pressure was doubly intense. They had to face this new Saturday boss, but first, they had to survive the impending Friday gauntlet: Dr. Manazaki's MMW Preliminary Remedial Exam.
And it was all scheduled to drop on the exact same day the Apex Strategist was set to turn 18.
END OF THE HECTIC WEEK
