There were several options,he was a manga geek and enjoyed watching animes like one punch man and attack on Titan. Though he hoped he will not be born in the latter.

He opened his eyes to see face of a women in her mid forties, concerned etched on her face as she leaned over him. He blinked and looked around and realised he was lying on the ground, surrounded by bunch of five year olds.
He tried to speak when a wave of memories flashed in his head and he closed his eyes in pain.He remembered the reincarnation process and more and more details came into his mind as he arrived in this world.

He had read in my novel and fantasy records of Jjk that curses become agressive if they notice you can see them. So he never made eye contact with the curse, which was very difficult, since this non garde curse had like five eyes.
His first thought was that he is in Jjk, but he quickly scraped that as he remembered the primary foundation that maintains this and various other orphanages is named STARK Foundation.
He must be in some amalgam of Jjk × Mcu
If that was true than he knew horror both world could was capable of.

He immediately focused on his shadow.
