The streets were alive, crowded with traders, and people, soldiers, children playing and darting between stalls. Black banners bearing the white swan fluttered overhead—Arkan Clan's flags are everywhere.

Guards patrolled in the roads armored and alert they look friendly and good.

Mirel took it all in with casual interest, while Kalies walked rigidly beside him.

Try walk more freely Mirel said. "You look like you're about to fight the candy shop owner

He giggled.

Kalies ignored him.

A merchant called out, holding up sweets of different colours "Young master! Candy?"

Mirel stopped. "Young master? Whom do you call young master

He looked himself up and down. "Do I look like a boy to you.he looked at the merchant.

The merchant stammered.

"I'm a magician," Mirel added proudly,

For that mistake give me one or two candy

He took coins from his pouch and gave to candy shop owner.

He started licking the candy and pleased with taste of the candy.

He offered one to Kalies.

Kalies stared at it… then threw it aside.

Mirel gasped theatrically. "You devil "

Before Kalies could react or say anything, Mirel snapped his fingers.

Kalies's shirt vanished.

The market went silent.

Every eyes looked at the beauty of that ancient soul.

Silver hair, pale skin ,old scars, power resting beneath flesh like a sleeping storm.

Every eye turned they couldn't resist some even faint.

Kalies quickly grabbed Mirel, slamming him back against his chest, voice low and dangerous. "Don't cross your limits, trickster."

Mirel gulped.

For the first time, he couldn't meet Kalies's gaze he felt a strange sensation in his stomach.

"Okay" he said.

Kalies released him and walked ahead.

Mirel brushed dust from his clothes, watching him go.

His heart was pounding—for reasons he refused to name.

Both of them didn't notice the men at first.

Two figures. Same direction ,Same turns.

Mirel slowed. "Kalies." he grabbed his hand.

"What now."

"Someone's following us .

Kalies just glanced back once.

His body shifted instantly.

He grabbed Mirel's waist and pulled him into an alley.

The men hesitated.

Too late.

Blink of an eye.

Kalies moved like a shadow.

A knife pressed to a throat. "Who sent you?"

The man laughed—and kicked backward.

Chaos began...

Mirel snapped his fingers, illusions bursting into existence—dozens of Kalies, dozens of Mirels.

The attackers struck wildly.they got confused.

Then Kalies lost control.

The air changed.

Power surged from him, lifting him from the ground. His eyes turned white, silver hair whipping violently as if caught in a storm.

"ENOUGH."

The ground cracked.

One man fell instantly.

The other crawled, screaming.

Kalies landed before him, grabbing his collar. "Who sent you."

The man sobbed. "D–Dian…"

The name echoed.

Something broke.

Kalies didn't hesitate.

He crushed the man's skull.

The man died screaming.

Silence fell.

Mirel stood frozen, staring at the blood on Kalies's hands.

Kalies turned slowly.

His eyes were still glowing.

The sky above darkened.

And far away, unseen—
